This is the best gym I've ever joined. Owner Gary Panichella has made this facility a labor of love, and it shows in every detail: huge floor plan with dedicated areas for free weights, weight machines, cycling, jogging/elliptical, aerobics/yoga, even giant tire training out back. Everything is very clean, and the gym has wonderful natural light that makes working out very relaxing. Members have key card access during the gym's posted hours, and owner Gary and manager Eric are welcoming, helpful presences in the afternoons and evenings.
This was a wonderful surprise after my high-pressure experiences

This is a great local place. Loads of machines and real friendly trainers. I’d definitely recommend it!

I love this gym. It's never too crowded, the machines are kept in excellent condition, I rarely ever have to wait for equipment or a machine, they have good hours, and it's not too loud. As an introvert, it's a great place for me to workout without worrying about having too many awkward interactions with people, but everyone is friendly enough anytime I've needed anything.

Have been a member here for over 4 years, the gym is very clean and quiet. Great personal trainer as well. Look forward to when Spin classes are able to resume!

It's clean and friendly, has a nice Zen/slightly Japanese feel to it, and the aerobic machines are always available. In fact at least in the late afternoon/early evening it's so un-crowded you feel solitary--which is good. Can't speak about the resistance machines/weights--never use them.

This place is absolute garbage, please save your money and time and go somewhere else. The gym is extremely small and cluttered, it feels as if you are working out in a low quality garage gym. The lack of equipment is apparent with only a single squat rack and a couple of machines. If you are a serious lifter you will have an awful time here due to people hogging the squat rack and other equipment. Only two bench presses and they are situated in very bad locations. About everything here is bolted down so there is no feasibility as far as moving things around. The equipment is also in bad shape

Studio 808 is not your typical mass market gym. The gym has a yoga room, wrestling/martial arts room, free and machine weight room, and aerobic room, all separate. There's also a downstairs small room, with weights and boxing equipment. I've never felt crowded, ever. Gary, the owner, has built three private shower rooms too, and there are personal trainers available. Its good for a lot of reasons, but if your looking for an early morning workout with a place to shower and Highland Park is on your commute trail, join. It's excellent for that.
