PAUL ROGERS founded Advocas Law Group to create a different kind of law firm, one in which the attorney works for the client to achieve the best possible outcome at the least expense. As a litigator and former deputy district attorney, Paul saw firsthand the lack of confidence that many people have when it comes to legal services.
There are few things that lawyers can guarantee with any degree of certainty. However, one of those things is that it is FAR better to prepare an estate plan while still living. There are two types of estates: 1) testate; 2) intestate. If someone prepares an estate plan while alive, they can direct where, when, how, and by whom all assets will be directed and administered.
Unfortunately, when someone dies, it can be an emotionally stressful time to address administration of their estate. Despite that, some important things may need to be dealt with quickly, such as mortgage issues, property taxes, life insurance, retirement or investment accounts, notifications to banks, public entities, Social Security, medical providers or landlords.
A conservatorship is a court case in which a judge appoints a responsible party (called the "conservator") to care for someone 18 years of age or older (called the "conservatee") who cannot care for himself or herself or manage his or her own finances. Conservatorships are established for impaired adults, most often older people.
Black's Law Dictionary defines "litigation" as, "A contest in a court of justice, for the purpose of enforcing a right." Estate Litigation involves the litigation of trust, estate, and protective proceedings (guardianships and conservatorships) in court, usually in Probate Court.
Estate Litigation includes litigation of conflicts, duties and/or rights regarding conservatorships, guardianships, wills, claims, elder abuse, defense of claims of breaches of fiduciary duties by trustees and other fiduciaries, accountings, petitions for court instructions, issues of trust modifications or reformation, allegations or protection from allegations of undue influence or fraudulent conveyances, and interpretation, advocacy, or defense of testamentary capacity and decedent's intent.

Working with Paul from start to finish has been a pleasant experience. He's very professional and explains the process and expectations. He's very responsive. I had to file for guardianship of estate and he knew what needed to be done. It was a long process. He also went above and beyond during the pandemic and worked with my schedule. I'm thankful how he helped my family during a difficult time. I would recommend his services.

We found Paul Rogers November of 2019. He was extremely professional. We needed someone to help us with an issue that we had with our conservatorship for my special needs sister. We made dozens of phone calls and no one would help us. When we were about to give up we found Paul. My special needs sister Immediately felt comfortable with him which was amazing because she's usually reserved when meeting new people. It if wasn't for Covid Paul would have been able to wrap our case up in 2 months. He knows the right people to connect with to get the job done and did so in a timely manner.

Paul helped me so much through a difficult dispute between heirs. He was very professionally knowledgeable and experienced. Plus, he has excellent insight into people. Disputes between heirs are thorny and disheartening and I found Paul's clear, no-nonsense, but sympathetic consul to be enormously helpful. Having good consul in these situations also increased my clout, I believe. Highly recommended!!

Paul assisted my family with a legal matter recently, and he was fantastic to work with. Paul was knowledgeable, honest, and straight forward in the way that he presented things to us. He was very patient, and he took the time to educate us about the entire process. Likewise, he was prompt, courteous, and responsive in replying to our phone calls and e-mails. He was more than fair and reasonable with regard to his billing for services, and I feel that he went well above and beyond what would be expected in terms of the amount of time and effort that he put in to assisting us with our case. I really

Paul is a great attorney to work with, here's why: he is professional, gives you straight answers (doesn't necessarily tell you what he thinks you want to hear), returns calls/emails/inquires promptly, listens to your concerns, communicates effectively and appears to actually know law pretty well. Thumbs up.

Paul Rogers helped my husband with some workplace issues. Without getting into the specifics, I have to say that Paul gets the job done and then some! He was knowledgeable, kind, professional, patient, down to earth, and was able to explain things in terms that were easy to understand. He was very prompt and responsive with updates to the case. In court, his advocacy was stellar and he knows what he is doing. My husband was kept informed throughout the process and answered his many questions. I would recommend him whole heartedly to anyone who needs a skilled advocate in his/her corner. Definitely

Paul Rogers at Advocas Law Group is a very knowledgeable attorney and he genuinely wants the best for me and my case. Sometimes it is hard to find a good lawyer. Then when you do find one, they are hard to get to and most times, it takes time to get in touch with them. They are mostly not trial lawyers too. But rather, they want to sit in their office and not go to court for you. This is not the case with Paul Rogers from Advocas. When you call his number, you get him right away. He is a great trial lawyer and very knowledgeable with the court system. He thoroughly studied my case and explained

This review is long overdue. Paul is a great attorney. He does probate, civil, family and criminal cases. He's helped me with several cases and it's nice to have the same attorney for different things. He's always going beyond what he needs to do for me and other clients (i.e. he's walked me to the Courthouse with important documents, he's very supportive.) I absolutely appreciate his concern. He's very frank and is not afraid to tell you how it is. He's honest and will walk you through all the issues in your case in a way you understand. I recommend him if you
