My practice is now exclusively devoted to diagnostic evaluations and testing for gifted, child & adult ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, educational & test accommodations, autism, mental health disorders and law enforcement personnel. I can provide appropriate referrals following an evaluation.

I've been practicing psychology in northern Palm Beach County for over 35 years. I'm proud to be one of only 4% of psychologists in the United States to be Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. I received my Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from The University at Albany, State University of New York in 1974.
Score of 130 or above (98th percentile) on an individually administered intelligence test. I administer the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V) to children 6 and older and the Wechsler Primary & Preschool Intelligence Scale (WPPSI-IV) to 4 and 5 year olds. The Wechsler tests are considered the "gold standard" for individual IQ tests.
The most common learning disability is a reading disability (dyslexia) followed by written language and math disabilities. A learning disability is not the same as Attention Deficit Disorder. A person can have one or both of these problems. If you are unsure whether you or your child has a learning disability or ADD/ADHD or both, you can schedule an initial consultation with me.
A diagnosis of AD(H)D, a learning disability, or a psychological disorder alone does not qualify someone for educational accommodations such as extended time on tests. Chapter 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974 and The Americans with Disabilities Act state that one must provide evidence of a disability that functionally limits or impairs a major life activity, i.e., learning, concentrating, reading.
