Marleane is a licensed real estate broker and property manager. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors. Marleane is also a dealer for Manufactured Housing, which enables her to sell homes that are not real property. She has been a resident of Carson Valley since 1981, with her real estate career beginning in 1987.
Skye began working for M. Scott Properties in September of 2015. In 2016 she was promoted to being the assistant for Marleane Scott, the broker, and owner of M. Scott Properties. She has a strong work ethic and is very efficient. In 2019 she received her real estate license, and in 2020, just this year, she received her property management permit.
Kelly has been working for M. Scott Properties, Inc. since 1998. She considers herself to be hardworking and compassionate. She truly cares about her clients, and her primary goal is to protect her clients' investment properties. M. Scott's record of excellence in managing both commercial and residential properties comes from years of experience and impeccable customer service.
Cheryl was born and raised in San Francisco. Cheryl moved to Carson Valley in 1997 with her husband and two children. She has been working in Property Management and Real Estate since 1999. Cheryl joined the M. Scott Properties team in April of 2018. Pat is the Accounting Manager for M Scott Properties.

Our landlord sold out to M Scott and we had issues with the upstairs neighbor making noise all hours of the night and they would not address the issue so the sheriffs dept got involved but pushed us back onto the property manager, we have videos of her leaving her vacuum running in one spot for up to 5 min (hardwood floor and thin ceiling) they just ignored us so we were forced to move in this bad housing market. So when we put in out notice mid month to be out the 1st of the following month we got an instant response... horrible property management... all about that $$$ don’t care about their

I have been extremely happy with the services provided in my purchase of a manufactured home in Aspen Park. Marleane Scott and Skye Schilling have both been very supportive and helpful throughout the process. I'm not so sure about this place. I have walked in multiple times to ask about some properties and the women don't welcome me in or acknowledge me at all. They seem very rude. I would like to give it a try but going into the office just doesn't appeal me to anything due to the environment of the office. The women should be more attentive and interactive with those who come in, they would probably get a lot more business...

Recently transitioned housing and Skye handled the sale of the home we were renting and Monica was there for us every step of the way to help with our new home. Do not rent from these people! they are slum lords that harass their tenants and will take your deposit when you move out regardless of how good of a tenant you are. Home owners beware!! Check your properties I implore you and speak to your tenants as i'm sure many are being neglected! Collecting owners fees and not doing due dilligence on your properties then they blame whoever they can to not take any ownership which is sadly their tenants whom they don't listen to lie to then you are told you never said and or reported said issues. If it were possible to give these people a minus 5 stars I would. This real estate firm's property management department is unlike anything I have seen in this area. They are extremely unprofessional. They are dishonest and have no business being involved in rental properties. To find a comparable entity one would need to go to San Francisco where slum lords reign. They refuse to maintain even a semblance of property maintenance. They absolutely refuse to reimburse a tenant for repairs or critical maintenance the tenant undertakes when M Scott is negligent in effecting repairs.

MScott manages all our rentals and we could not be more pleased with their professional services. We previously did all of our own property management; and now, MScott does everything for us for no longer have to handle the day to day management/phone calls, rental applications, rent collection, misc. repairs, bank deposits, easily understandable monthly statements (with backup receipts, etc.), everything. The office staff is always responsive to us and our renters.

1 star, only because I can't give zero. We rented through M.Scott for 2 years, we paid a $1650 deposit. Upon move out we spent a week cleaning and scrubbing and made sure it looked even better than when we moved in. All of the cleaning we did was ignored (even though we paid a professional carpet company $200 to clean the carpets, as stated in our lease) they nickel and dimed us for additional cleaning including removal of satellite dish, caulking, fireplace (it's gas, what are we supposed to do, dust the fake rocks) and vacuuming...really, it was professionally cleaned?? $485 of

Just don'tdo it. you will wait forever for maintenance. i had no water heater for two and half days. was flooded, there fault, they wouldn't put me up anywhere. they will screw you royal when you give your notice. different people tell you things that aren't true and you believe them and then they evict you. please if you are a smart renter don't use them. they aren't even nice to talk to they change their stories. when i moved in the place was dirty. had to clean the floors the shower and the paint was awful, plus the carpet is disgusting. good luck if you decide

Just don't do it. They aren't good to their homeowners that hire them to do property management and are equally as dishonest if you are a renter. We took over managing our own property after using them for a year. We paid them $165 a month just to collect a rent check. After forming a good relationship with our tenants they told us that M Scott didn't even do the initial walk-through they promised in our contract. We had money taken out of our rent that wasn't supposed to be taken out and I got little help from them to recover the funds. I've met "M Scott". I
