I am a Treasure Coast based Home Inspection company where I conduct all inspections. I conduct home inspections, wind mitigation inspections, 4-point inspections, & roof certifications throughout the Treasure Coast, Indian River County, St. Lucie County, and Martin County. My background is my best asset do to my experience is as a Journeyman Carpenter that has managed the carpentry buildouts of everything from a 10,000 sq.
We have found many unfinished, sloppily done and/or missing items in newly constructed homes such as: truss connectors that have not been nailed to trusses, soffit vents covered with stucco, missing caulking, missing electrical plate screws, electric circuit wire for ceiling fan boxes never installed, severely cracked garage concrete floors.
We had the opportunity to help this homeowner recoup his losses after purchasing a home that had never had insulation installed in the attic. The Home Inspector never revealed such in there report. Consequently he purchased the home and after discovering the attic did not have insulation, he had to have the missing insulation installed at his expense.
We have added several of our more recent Home Inspections. Many of the structures are buildings that I inspected during their original construction while serving as Chief Building Inspector. The Office Depot Global Building is my son Charles most prominate project where he was supervisor over construction of all interior partitions, ceilings, and interior finnishes.
A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of a residential dwelling, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify observed material defects within specific components of said dwelling. Components may include any combination of mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the home, as identified and agreed to by the Client and Inspector, prior to the inspection process.
