Method Karate is a family-oriented and family-operated martial arts school in Mount Bethel, PA. We offer these great programs:. Shotokan Karate is our traditional martial arts program offered to students 7 to 100 years of age. Our classes focus on strength, conditioning, technique and combat application.

NinjaTrix, offered to students 4-12 years of age, is our exciting kid's ninja class that combines martial arts, gymnastics, and parkour. Find out if your kid is the next ninja warrior! Tiny Ninjas is an action packed toddler and me class, getting your little ones (ages 5 and under) moving and active.

Karate Report

Method Karate is proud to offer karate classes for children and adults in the discipline of Shotokan Karate. Our traditional Shotokan dojo teaches confidence, discipline, focus, and self defense. We emphasize proper form, combined with speed and power through the practice of Kihon (basics) and Kata (forms).

NinjaTrix Report

NinjaTrix is the newest kid's ninja program that is the perfect blend of Martial Arts, Gymnastics and Obstacle Course/Parkour Training to get your Ninjas moving, growing and having a blast! Kids love it because they get to run, jump, climb, kick, spin and basically be kids! Parents love it because their kids get to burn off energy and exercise while having fun, and as a bonus learn tenets such as self-discipline, confidence, and respect.

Excellent environment, exceptional instruction. My son simply loves coming here and he has learned a great deal. The caring, close-knit environment is a great place to learn. I highly recommend this dojo for anyone wanting to learn Shotokan karate.

Sensei Jim is a great instructor who teaches his students individually and successfully. I have been learning there for under a year, yet I have learned much that I thought was only movie magic. The preciseness of his teachings have enabled his students to work together in uniform Kihon, Kata, and Kumite and allowed students of all ages to learn quickly and correctly from his senior students.

My family has been training here for one year. Sensei Jim is an excellent instructor, who works well with all age students. My daughter who is 6 years old loves working with Sensei Jim and has learned more than I could have dreamed in this short period of time.

In the past year, I have gained confidence, improved my coordination and learned great self-defense skills from Sensei Jim's Shotokan Karate classes at Mountain Martial Arts. I highly recommend his classes to students of all ages, children to adult.
