Gallagher's Restaurant

Everything here was well above average. Not just for a small town eatery but compared to the best places in larger cities! The old-fashioned was great. Fish tacos were superb. The homemade chips were the best I’ve ever had.

First time eating here, or rather, first time for curbside pickup. While sitting in my parking spot waiting for the food, the grill exhaust was making me hungry and my mouth water. It smelled that good. Food was excellent. Nice portions. Very reasonably priced and ready on time. Will be eating here again!

The best food!! I travel from NC a couple of times a year. Gallagher’s is 10 stars for food!! Grilled cheese and tomato soup never tasted so good. And the bread with cheese (see pictures) is to die for! So good we each ordered our own!!

So incredible! We had a party of 5, appetizers, drinks, salads, entrees and kid meals were all fantastic. Great service and atmosphere. The pork rinds were over the top delicious.

We arrived before the lunch crowd did so it wasn't very crowded . We sat at the bar the bartender was great . Very helpful in suggesting her menu favorites.
I had the signature burger . Very good . Burger was seasoned very well if not aggresive for some . The fries were blah . Soggy potatoes without much seasoning .
My son had the candied bacon BLT. It was also very good . Lot of bread to bacon ration but still good .
We also had the fried zucchini for an appetizer. It was also great and came in a larger than expected portion size .

Who was voted Best Fried Chicken in St. Louis, 2015, '16 and '17 by the Post-Dispatch? It will come as a surprise -- Gallagher's in Waterloo, IL. I'm no chicken connoisseur, but it's quite good, as is their amazing garlic burger. Very pleasant decor, nice bar, and cheerful staff. Nice afternoon outing from St. Louis.

I enjoyed the chicken, good flavor not too salty not dry. The price is good here too. The mashed potatoes were very good. The corn stuff was very good. The green beans were ok. This is definitely a place I'd go to again. Just know if you go on Sunday all they serve is the chicken dinner.

Stumbled upon this place on a drive from STL. Awesome little spot. The wings and burgers are absolutely fantastic.
Really cool Irish bar feel. Nothing close to a dive bar as there's a nice restaurant area too. We sat at the bar and had a great service. Lots of cool decorations and a great vibe makes this a sure fire return on our next trip down here.

Awesome food! Definitely a favorite jem to Waterloo. Moment you walk near, you get lured by the smell of steak.....hmm, so good.
