When you're talking with her you can tell how passionate she is about her business and her clients.

My name is Emma Olmedo and I'm the owner and lead designer of Floriography. I've always been the "creative girl". In elementary school I would memorize my spelling words by painting them and you'd constantly find me sneaking off to do some kind of craft instead of the school work waiting for me. Fast forward to the present and you'll still find me creating in my ultimate passion which is floral design!
All flowers are hand selected for your wedding and every arrangement is custom designed for each client. Because of this, prices vary by event. However, I am happy to accommodate weddings in almost any budget range, from small and intimate to those that are large and lavish! My general recommendation is that you consider setting aside 10-20% of your overall wedding budget for florals and decor.
My fiance and I had to cancel and re-plan our wedding in less than two months. I was a frantic mess and didn't know where to go, a wedding planner that I know recommended me to Emma and I literally couldn't be more thankful for the referral.
She is one of the sweetest and easiest people to talk to and so so incredibly accommodating, we didn't know exactly what we wanted so I have a her my color palette and a few flowers I knew that I wanted and I gave her total creative control and my ceremony and reception put me and my family to tears.She did an insanely beautiful job.

Emma has amazing talent and the professional approach that you want for your event. It was a relief when she came to me with floral ideas for our wedding versus expecting me to come with all of the ideas. We brainstormed together and the outcome was dreamy and romantic. She was easy to work with, flexible and delivered beyond expectations. Highly recommend Floriography, arguably the best event florist in KC!

When it came to flowers for my wedding I was absolutely clueless - I didn’t even have a solid color palette picked out. Emma didn’t hesitate stepping in to help and she put together the perfect spring floral proposal and I knew she was the one! I was absolutely in awe when she delivered my bouquet! She put together the most wonderful arbor florals and our centerpieces were so perfect and full of flowers! Emma’s floral creations really brought our venue to life! She’s just so sweet and will truly blow you away with her floral talent!

Where do I even begin? Emma is literally one of the best floral designers out there. She listens to what you want and then brings it to life! Our wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous and I kept all of them as long as I could because I didn't want to give them up. Emma's process from start to finish is super easy to understand and wasn't stressful at all. She is extremely reliable and professional and I would recommend anyone getting married to work with Emma. You won't be disappointed!

First off Emma is down right mind blowing amazing!!! She is so personal and legit made my envision on my wedding day come to life. I’m still such in shock how she knew exactly what I liked from the first day I met her and we just instantly connected on the same page. I went to other big name florist before meeting her and I just felt like I was just another wedding to them and just a basic proposal plan sent over to me.
When I met her she took the time and asked me so many questions to figure out exactly what I wanted. Then when I got my proposal I was blown away that I could have my dream wedding

We cannot recommend Emma enough!!!!! Before meeting with Emma I was so overwhelmed with the thought of planning my florals and all of the big/little decisions to come... I definitely was not a bride that was excited to plan every little detail and required a ton of hand holding. During our consultation I had no idea what my vision was, and she took the time to ask probing question to come up with a beautiful proposal for us. I met Emma from a referral on a Facebook wedding site and never looked back. After having our initial consultation I knew right away she was absolutely perfect for our big day. Emma was able to portray my vision perfectly and bring it to life. After having several hiccups throughout my planning process (insert corona pandemic here) Emma had exceptional customer service. Sending her what felt like 300 emails a day, she always had quick, thoughtful and insanely helpful responses. We needed to adjust our initial setup and add her for complete setup for our reception in addition to the floral arrangements
