I highly recommend avoiding this company. Sharon is all about the money and heaven help you if you actually have to talk to this woman. She is rude, mean, and treats you horribly. I think Katie is the only one saving this place. Had to report Multiple issues about the condo. Both the toilets were running (still from reporting them 2 years ago?), broken light fixture in the bathroom. No light in the bedroom. Corroded door knobs in the front room balcony so you couldn't close the door. Broken chair on the balcony in addition to a corroded end table. The place is just gone down hill and they don't

I have rented through this company twice in the past with good results but in the last year or so their office etiquette and customer service has completely crumbled. I called to place a reservation and was directed to utilize their online form and they would contact me. After submitting my information online, waiting 48 hours, then submitting online again, I called back to inquire about my reservation. I was told that there was a 3 night minimum rental required for the dates I selected. I advised their website clearly states 2 night minimum and was told very curtly it was 3 nights or nothing.

I feel so defeated and emotional. This has been such a hard year. All my daughter wanted for her 8th birthday this year was to go to the coast with her cousins. We scrapped together enough money to get a beach rental that allowed a small dog. About two days ago I found out there will be some concrete being poured for a walk way annoying but not a big deal. Well today I found out that we are unable to stay at the house because it's unsafe. Recently stayed at 1841 Beach Dr. And was severely disappointed! There was water damage around the house. Carpets were very old and made a bad smell in the house, walls were chipping along with the bathroom tub. The gate to the back was broken, very old for a rental, dishwasher was not properly bolted in, and the hot water would last 20 min for every hour, hardly any wifi, and the fireplace was nasty and did not work! Maybe there's some better homes but with my experience I'm not happy!

I reserved a beach house rental through this company over 4 months ago. My reservation is for tomorrow. Today the company called me and canceled my reservation, because there is construction happening on the property. Their fix was to place my group in a condo that does not allow dogs. The whole reason we reserved the house we did was for their pet policy. It is not acceptable for a company to cancel a reservation a day before the arrival date. The way the manager yelled at me like it was my fault the property was under construction was very unpleasant and unacceptable.

I have never been treated so heartless and disrespectful!! My dad was literally in the hospital on his death bed dying and these women, especially the owner, Sharon, only cared about money. Not once did they say they were sorry, or give any condolences. First of all, I'm sad to be writing a poor review for these folks as I thought we had found our new longterm house rental business for our yearly trip to Seaside, Oregon. How disappointing that in this modern age they have such an archaic system in place that while checking out in 2018 we asked to reserve and pay for the same house the following year. We were told their system couldnt do this and we could pay in 2019 when they mail out contracts in snail mail. We are long time renters of Oceanside Vacation Rentals. I called the office because we have two dogs and I know that finding houses that will take dogs can be tricky. I thought calling would be best because we would get someone who knows the inventory and what's available. At first, they told us the Anchor House was available which we readily agreed to. We had a great experience with Oceanside Vacation Rentals, this was our second time renting one of their properties. We wanted to be able to accommodate our family, husband, four year old son and year old dog and myself. We even had a problem with were we were going to stay and it was resolved before they even called us. They moved us to a different property and it was larger than our original rental. We woke up in the morning to no hot water and it was quickly taken care of and we had hot water with in an hour. Everything was clean and well cared for

Our stay in The Sunset House/510 was glorious. The weather was stunning! The house was perfectly cozy, clean, and well-appointed. The beds were so comfy. Have never slept that well away from home. Katy and Sharon were helpful and nice and Tim was a sweetie too. Did not want to leave but hope to return soon.

Oceanside Vacation Rentals is a truly outstanding vacation rental company! They are very easy to work with, have fantastic rentals, and even gave us a very nice gift basket for our rental. We really enjoyed our stay at the Wave Watcher, and you just can't beat the view from the master bedroom! AMAZING! The house was well equipped with lots of extras to make the stay more enjoyable. Our extended family have been spending a week at Seaside for 20 years. Oceanside Vacation Rentals have provided lodging for our last 10 years. They have been wonderful to work with when we have needed to change our dates or add days. The Anchor House is well maintained, supplied and clean. The Anchor House is close to the beach yet quiet. The open floor plan makes it easy for everyone to be part of the conversation.

Oceanside Vacation Rental properties are amazing! Something to please everyone's taste and budget. I've stayed at three different locations several times over with this company and have never been disappointed. The two ladies that work in the office are so ridiculously friendly and helpful and they always go out of their way if something comes up.

Oceanside Vacation Rentals had great, friendly, wonderful and warm service with a huge smile - Katie is the best!! Helped us with questions before booking, during booking, and at check-in. Place we rented was better than we expected and extended family had a blast that weather couldn't dampen, which we had pleasant mix of weather.
