We went here after a few horrible elitist bridal shops and Iris and Izzy were AMAZING! They were insanely knowledgeable about vintage fashion, knew all the correct vocabulary and how to put things together. Moreover, they made our bride feel so special, acknowledged and celebrated. The bridal room was perfectly vintage and adorable- a perfect experience for any bride to be to have. Girls thank you from the bottom of my heart for your caring and thoughtful manner towards my sister. You’re both GEMS!!!!!

First off, there are some very lovely pieces here. In fact, I planned to buy a few. An employee of the store was helping me and when I inquired about bathing suits she went to get a beautiful orange 1970s piece--and then the owner jumped in saying "ohhhh that one is tiny" and took it out of the employees hand and PUT IT BACK. She would not let me see it. I was horrified at her behavior. I run a vintage shop and you must trust the customer or at least gently guide them toward something that might be a better fit. Not deny them access to items. Previous reviews note similar behaviors so

A beautiful store, nice people, a cute little store cat and dog. I really liked the energy of the place, but if you're looking for plus size clothing, this is not the place. On it's website it claims to have sizes "petite to voluptuous". What that actually means is there's a half-rack shoved in the corner that carries maybe up to a US 14. I'd love to go here for shoes, petticoats, and accessories. But I left here feeling humiliated and disappointed.

Words cannot express how fabulous and joyful this little shop is! It is one of the best places to shop for unique vintage and Nuevo clothes! It is my happy place. If you ever need something to put a smile on your face go here. It will brighten your day and make shopping fun again. The staff is so pleasant and cheery to match the wonderland of beautiful garments. So in love with this little gem.

I will tell everyone from now on that this is my favorite store ever. The staff here REALLY know what they're doing and pulled several pieces for me that I ended up loving. They listened to me and were honest when something needed to be a different size or if a style wasn't working. So many dresses and skirts with pockets and sizes for all kinds of bodies and styles. Really amazing accessories and the entire place is adorable. They even gave me a free accessory with my purchase. I even accidentally left my debit card there overnight and they held it safely for me, even going as far as contacting

Found the PERFECT 40's style dress within minutes of walking in the door!! It fit like it was made for me, and the quality was wonderful. There were beautiful choices for accessories, from shoes to hats to jewelry. Fun and inviting atmosphere, and the gal working was very helpful and knowledgable. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend!!! ❤

Went with a small group of girls to help our friend find a wedding dress and the customer service was so bad it made us all feel uncomfortable. We were immediately berated for having more than the 3 people even though it had been communicated and confirmed over email that we would have more (6). They were unwilling to get a dress out of the window to try on and then proceeded to overly communicate how the dresses were small and how they wouldn't fit. Overall we left feeling like we were unwanted customers. Just not the kind of experience you want.

I am in love with this store! I saw it as I was going to another place and knew I would have to give this place a look. It is filled with vintage inspired clothing and jewelry. It is a bit pricey but the clothing are unique and well made so worth the price. They jewelry is also very fun and playful. To add too all of that they have a shop rescue cat that is adorable!

Why have I not made it here in so long?? I have no good excuse. I didn't realize what I was missing! Amazing selection (and I'm 5'10) that got me into more than one outfit...a few actually, which is so, so rare. Incredible decor and presentation. Very helpful, attentive and patient staff--Margaret. And the owner Anna Banana: Cool and sweet as a cream puff. I'll be back before I can say Pretty......P.....

This is THE spot in Seattle for vintage and vintage reproduction dresses, jewelry, accessories, shoes, and more in an adorable girly-girl setting. I found Pretty Parlor shopping for a Prom dress for my daughter and was immediately impressed with the quality and selection. Inga was an absolute doll to work with - exactly the right amount of attention to make us feel special without feeling pressured. We found a magical dress at a reasonable price, and my daughter walked out feeling like a fairy princess. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

I have to pace myself when I'm at Pretty Parlor; it's way too easy to go into a vintage fashion trance and spend more than I meant to! Anna carries some of my favorite vintage reproduction brands, including Stop Staring, Unique Vintage, Heart of Haute, and Trashy Diva. She also stocks a nice range of sizes. The best part is that she doesn't mark stuff up! You might pay a couple dollars more (and I really do mean just a couple) than you would if you ordered online, but I'd rather try it on and buy it on the spot at Pretty Parlor than bother with shipping, etc.

Randomly found this place on yelp and I'm so glad we decided to stop by! Not only is the store's interior so well decorated (their front door is gold and sparkly!!), the store owner has two of the cutest dogs that greet you as you walk in!
We found a nice variety of thrifted/vintage clothes but what really caught my eye was their selection of beaded, flapper girl-esque dresses! If you are going to a great gatsby themed party, buy your dress here!! I really wish I lived closer to this store because not only is the shopping experience super enjoyable (like hanging out with two pups while

One of my favorite shops in Seattle! This is a girly-girl's dream. The whole place feels so posh and frilly and sparkly. They have actual vintage, and great vintage reproduction. If you come out of the fitting room in a dress you are trying on, they will outfit you in fun accessories and let you twirl around to your heart's content. There is also an adorable shop dog. I can't say enough good things about this place and the lovely people who run it. They are so friendly and helpful. Thank you Pretty Parlor!

Pretty Parlor is girly heaven. I loved the original Greenwood store, but the move to this fantastic space on Cap Hill makes a lot of sense.
The owner was really on the cusp of the craft revolution. I love that she supports local artisans & has fun creations to round out her excellent selection of vintage - & vintage inspired - pieces.
Prices are very reasonable here. If you find a piece you love, you can often get out for less than 50 bucks, which is getting harder to do these days.
Definitely worth a stop if you're on the Hill!

Cute place with a lot of unique items. I think their accessories are the best part. There were a few really cute flapper dresses that I would have loved to try. I would definitely like to spend time there trying some things on. I didn't try much on since the prices are a little high for me especially when some of the items are things that I probably wouldn't find many occasions to wear them on after purchasing.
It's worth stopping by.

OMG. How have I lived in Seattle for ten years and not discovered this place? Best. Store. Ever.
I went looking for a 1920s dress as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife, and didn't really think anywhere in Seattle would have anything that really worked. Wow, wrong. They had some stunning dresses, and I walked out with the best. Anna and Inga made shopping great fun and were super-helpful, and overall the selection of clothing there was wonderful.
It's the sort of place you go to not just to shop but to put you in a happy mood. I can see we'll be doing some serious financial

Anna is awesome! I had an appointment at the bridal shop and she was so sweet from the moment my friend and I walked in. I'm not a girly girl so the thought of trying on wedding dresses was never that thrilling to me. But Anna made it so much fun! She was so helpful! She picked out 5 or 6 dresses for me to try on and they were all beautiful. And she really knows her stuff! She helped me accessorize with headpieces and parasols and gloves etc. It was a blast! And I am absolutely in love with one of the dresses I tried on. It fit me perfectly, and I am an xs, so she does have dresses for all

Buying stuff from Pretty Parlor was how I learned I am allergic to cats :( Vinnie is very cute but sadly, not worth the break out. I understand that shop cats are a "thing," and maybe it's partly my fault for buying a vintage coat that "can't" be cleaned according to the owner.
I do have a cute white clutch that I got in their sale bin for $5.

This is such an adorable little vintage store! It is decorated so cute!
Most of the clothing is geared for women but there is a very nice section of men's clothing that is unique and seems to be of top quality! I found an adorable 60's flavored shirt that I was very tempted to buy but managed to resist.
Steve was entranced by the fedoras that they had for sale and suit jackets.
This little store is what Capitol Hill is all about which is fun, quirky and unique!
It's a definitely different kind of thrift store, minus all of the mustiness that you come across in so many others!
Highly

Love at first sight for the ultra fem and vintage lovers! With a dash of kitsch, its all eye candy.
Upon first entrance I was greeted by the sweetest owner, who willingly attended to setting up a room for me. I found myself drawn right away to the rack of colorful vintage slips that lay beneath of giant picture of Audrey Hepburn.
Most of the clothes I would classify under a cross between Betsey Johnson and Patricia field. Its fun stuff, but nothing really too fancy. The prices were right in line, not very pricey but still worth a good penny or two.
I give a shoutout to the nice and unique
