If the house you are thinking about purchasing has an existing underground heating oil tank, it's your right to conduct an inspection. Hydroscience Group can investigate the soil surrounding the underground heating oil tank to determine the quality of the soil. Samples are screened by a New Jersey licensed professional onsite and can be qualified as clean at that time.
Underground septic tanks, on-site wastewater treatment tanks, and other waste storage or disposal systems can be made from a wide range of materials. Some of the more common you find in both residential and commercial properties are made from either concrete, steel, or a special type of heavy-duty plastic.
The foundation of residential and commercial buildings can be subject to significant outside pressures which over time can cause vertical as well as horizontal cracks. I had an oil tank removed that still had 150 gallons of oil in it. It had sat dormant for 5 years since I switched over to natural gas. When I called for quotes I called 5 companies that serviced my area. Hydro Science was very quick to get me a quote and it was by far the best price available. I am so happy I went with our first choice for tank removal. My neighbor Anthony recommended and the company exceeded all my expectations. I left on vacation and was in contact my via email and texts. I was worried I had to do the permits and they had it all done. They came and the did the job and was out less than 4 hours. We discovered an oil tank that needed to be removed before we paved our parking lot. We reached out to Dan and immediately arrangements were made for the removal. So, I was reluctant to spend the money on "Mosquito & Tick" service. I had used DIY methods such as "spray cans" & "Propane Fogger" with limited success. And thought "How much better can a professional service be?" How wrong I was.
Cut to the chase - Best damn money I ever spent on my yard! Period. I have enjoyed my back yard & pool more this year than ever. I have a healthy amount of woods & shrubs on my property & Hydro Science has allowed my to reclaim it from the unpleasant part of mother nature.
Oh yeah, they have not bothered or hurt my wives hummingbird family that shares our back yard
