She combined her interests in biochemistry, food science, and health education to earn a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics from Saint Louis University. She also graduated with minors in public health and interdisciplinary healthcare education - the first program of its kind in the nation.
Well Seasoned Nutrition works with people from different time zones across the country and world. You will be sent a Google Meet link for the agreed upon appointment date and time. Payments are due via Zelle a minimum of 48 hours prior to the appointment as confirmation of your attendance. In short, all Registered Dietitians are nutritionists but all nutritionists are not Registered Dietitians. In some states you can call yourself a nutritionist without any formal nutrition education, training, licensing, or certification. In all states it is illegal to call yourself a Registered Dietitian without proper credentialing.

I came to Kimaya because I have high cholesterol and a family history of heart disease. I was already on cholesterol meds but I didn't want to have to take them all my life. Kimaya has helped me tweak my eating habits in incremental, but impactful ways that I feel are sustainable. I like that she takes into account without judgement my tastes and time constraints on preparing healthy food, as well as educating me on how to interpret my blood tests and meal nutritional properties, including dispelling some myths I had on some foods.

I went to Kimaya to fine tune my nutrition while moving towards a more plant centered diet. She was super easy to work with and made me excited about food again. I don't want to be vegetarian, just wanted to get more comfortable with adding vegetables and non-animal proteins to my meals. Her virtual appointment system made it really easy for me to book some time in my weird schedule. What I appreciated the most was her no pressure approach to guiding me in the right direction with some simple, evidence-based steps to get started with. I've always struggled with my nutritional habits due to my busy lifestyle with a job that has hectic hours plus being in school. On top of that, I struggle with thyroid concerns. Finding Kimaya two years ago was an absolute blessing!!
She portrays a high level of professionalism and sincerity and I instantly felt comfortable. It was also such a relief to find someone I could easily setup virtual appointments with to accommodate my crazy schedule. My daughter found guidance from Kimaya to be very helpful. So when I was told I have high blood pressure, I started sessions with Kimaya too. I'm glad I did. I had been eating plan based for almost three years and I had 2 concerns, that I was gaining weight and that I wasn't sure I was getting the right nutrients. with Kimaya's guidance I was able to know how to balance my meals and she suggesting simple modification that made a significant different in the way I was eating. so far I have lost 23 pounds and I do feel I have been eating delicious and balance food and I haven't felt better than now. thanks Kimaya!
