I just had a bad experience at this place. Beware! They will steal from you. I brought my copper in. Agreed upon a price then when they paid me it was much less. When I asked the cashier about it she immediately went ghetto and started yelling while being confrontational. After asking a few questions about pricing and my percentage that they could not answer. That's when I realized they can't do simple math. So I chose to walk away. I worked at a much larger and more successful recycler for over a decade, so I UNDERSTAND the way it works. There are other recyclers with integrity

I had two catalytic converters I removed from my car to get recycled. I pulled in to get them appraised, and they would offer me $20 for both of them. I politely declined, and found another recycler that gave me $150 for both. I don't know about other materials they recycle, but I would stay away if your looking to get a fair price for catalytic recycling .

I submitted an email on their contact us website link asking a couple of questions about bringing in a four drawer file cabinet. No one seems to respond, in general, so why do I bother? So, a couple days later I called, and asked the same questions. The lady was pretty rude, and during our conversation, her office radio was very loud, too loud to converse. I asked her how much a four drawer file cabinet would bring. Simply wanting to know if the endeavor is worth my while. She said metal is .07 a pound. I asked if they have any tips to get the drawers out, so I can bring it down. She said

I found them to be consistent and fair. I have been bring aluminum and copper for over 2 years now.
The worker helps me unload the scrap from my car, and places on the scale.
Their website is helpful in determining prices for scrap.
The ladies in the office are friendly. The location is good. Easy to get off and back on the 202.

This place is hit or miss. Some days they pay really well and other days not so much.
Material that is brought has to be thoroughly checked to get the full price of Scrap. Ex: aluminum scrap might have steel rivets or screws or vice versa. I have seen people get upset because of this it takes some work sometimes to get full price. This is my two cents on this. Only my opinion. Everyone has different experiences here. The staff works hard within the elements.

Reason 1: When I called, the employee was very knowledgeable and informative. He patiently answered my questions and was very friendly, unlike some other metal recyclers I called.
Reason 2: I Buy Scrap offered the best price (well they tied another) of the four places I called.
The visit: I pulled in, walked up to the cashier window and he told me what to do. Again, this employee was professional and courteous. After weighing in, I was told where to unload the scrap, I weighed in again, collected my cash and receipt and I left. Easy. He even told
