Has been mediocre at best bern here about 10yrs. was great for like 7 yrs but management and people in office have come and gone. Rent has been goin up steadily every year until this yr with the pandemic hurting everyone they have decided to start diving hard into your pockets the rent they are charging on line is rediculous for what you get here it's like living in a hotel suite.. all appliances and cabinets are very low grade.. the parking has become a nightmare and strict so if u want a visitor look out they have to walk a mile away or get towed poor elderly visitors to have to park so far away

So many 1 star & then 5 star reviews.. As someone whose been living here almost a year now, & moved in in the midst of the pandemic, i honestly don’t think this place is as bad as people are making it out to be. I give it 4 stars because the only thing that could improve is the parking, but other than that, the staff is super friendly, the maintenance people are WONDERFUL, & always go above & beyond, & the apartments aren’t bad at all. they try to keep ontop of them (updated) as much as possible. anytime i’ve had a serious issue in my apartment, i would contact the office & they would coordinate

I'm shocked at the overall rating for Folly Hill Meadows Apartments on Yelp! The place is a great bargain in terms of price and top-flight in terms of services, grounds and amenities. Yesterday we had about a foot of snow and management had an army of workers out all day clearing the walkways and parking lots and shoveling the stairs into the buildings. This is typical around this place. They do regular maintenance to keep the property looking good and while the place has a lot of dogs, the owners all do a good job of picking up after their pets. Yes, it is unfortunate that every time you

I worked with Jenn the whole time. I am not sure why there are so many bad review, probably because people only leave reviews when they are mad/disappointed, but I have no complaints. The complex is very quiet and clean. There is normal apartment noises, but nothing unexpected. Our apartment was cleaned properly and new appliances. Trash removal is great. Parking can be tricky, but we always find parking, (sometimes the walks are a little longer then expected), but nothing bad.

I just moved into my apartment last Wednesday and so far I have nothing but wonderful things to say starting from the very first time we stepped foot on the property to tour a unit. We were told no 1 bedroom units were available sadly but we loved the complex so much we asked to be put on the wait list. No more than 24 hours later we were called that a first floor unit opened up. The move in process was easy and Tyler was easy to reach and easy to talk with and explain the process, this being the first apartment we have moved into. Also, they updated the apartment before we moved in and I was blown

Tyler was very helpful from beginning to end in our finding an apartment and moving in! Affordable, love that they don't charge for parking and the property is very dog friendly. They even completed some last minute updates we requested special without having to re-schedule our move in date. The apartment is much more spacious than other ones I'd been looking at in the area

Great Management Company and Beautiful Community
The minute I walked into the Management office, the people were very welcoming and Tyler who I was working with was charismatic and very informative of all the amazing things this apartment community had to offer. Everything was seamless from the moment I filled out my application to the minute I got to pick up my keys!! All the neighbors have been so friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place!!

I just moved into the North Shore for the first time for a new career, not knowing the area. Folly Hill Meadows is a safe bet in establishing a new, stable nest if you're unfamiliar with the area. Everything in the area is easily accessed because the highway is so close. It's also really quiet and the amenities are nice. Tenants are stable and respectful. The apartment complex is also very well maintained and clean!

Jenn, the property manager is a sweetheart. She truly helped us when we broke our lease and lucky for us, our apartment got rented right away. Just make sure to read your lease if you have to break it.
There is a clause on page 6, #53 that outlines an early termination fee which is equals to one month rent and so we never got our security deposit back. Don’t haggle or something because they are also trying to run a business and have expenses to cover.
Looking back now, it’s perfectly ok because we are now saving money since we moved out of state.
Just make sure you save a lot of money for

My husband and I lived here for 2.5 years.
Pros - Gorgeous setting- lots of woods and a big meadow in the middle. Our apartment was also fairly big for a one bedroom and we had a balcony to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Management was always nice and did their best to accommodate. We also had his and hers closets which was the BEST!!
Cons- Really old apartments, and expensive for what it is. Thin walls (we could hear everything from our neighbors.)

My fiance and myself lived here for a year (April 2016 - April 2017). We looked at several complexes in the area but immediately got a great vibe here. Tom showed us the grounds and the apartments. Tom was extremely personable, professional, and accommodating and that never changed throughout the year. I told Tom this was my first apartment, I hate loud noises, and I needed to be on the top floor. Tall ask for an apartment! He got us a secluded building (50 Apple Road) on the top floor. I was pumped. Apartment was bigger and less expensive than others we looked at. People complaining about lack

Absolutely terrible. We have had nothing but problems with them. Whenever we had a maintenance problem they wouldn't show up, but would be quick to invade our space whenever it was convenient for them. Terrible location, and not "luxury" by any means. Lots of unfulfilled promises by management, and they'll nickel and dime you the moment you smarten up enough to decide to move out. I could go on and on, but the number of other terrible reviews on here should prove my point. No wonder apartments in this complex tended to stay empty for a while. BEWARE!!

I've never been so pissed off so consistently for so long. Never move here. Maintenance never fixes anything and when they say they will, they don't show up. My CEILING WAS CAVING IN. Literally, molding my furniture. Maintenance missed three scheduled appointments. They never fixed it, by the way. My dishwasher was broken, they told me it's my fault...I WASN'T EVEN MOVED IN FOR 24 HOURS. Management is a mess. Every single person who works there...it's like it's there first day every day. I'm moved out and STILL dealing with them. Security deposit check is screwed

This place is HORRIFIC!!! Every time I opened a service request, it was closed saying "Complete" when nothing was ever done about it. I also had squirrels living in the ceiling, which management also did not address. Way overpriced, unfriendly staff, the list goes on.... I had to terminate my lease as I had to take care of my dying mother and the management staff showed no remorse whatsoever... Just looking for their "Termination Fee" Even thought the apartment was rented the next month. DO NOT RENT HERE!! Heartless & Useless! Also, the heat is electric, so get used

I gave the 4 star instead of 5, only because my unit is not available to purchase! I am in my 6th year at Folly Hill. It is a serene , relaxed and very clean complex. Lots of green; beautiful animals flourish. The management welcome dogs and cats, and nature provides some deer now and again passing through. There are many poles to "clean up the mess" and thus, with minimal exception, the grounds are clean from that mess... and when it is not, it is the fault of the pet owner.. not the complex.
I have read some of the reviews, and they have not been my experience.

Don't ever rent here. The location is terrible as you need to get on the highway to get anywhere. You also can only get back home from one side of the highway. Management is terrible and they spy on tenants and bilk them with fictitious fines. Example: I lived in a dog building in front of the woods, where everyone had dogs. Somehow I was told it was my fault the building had a flea infestation and was charged accordingly. These fictitious fines will quadruple if you move out.
