When we first moved into the building a few years ago, it was a great place. This year they raised our rent by 20%. This was after we had put up with the demolition of a building across the street and the building of new apartments by the owner of our building. The noise from the demolition and construction was constant. One of the reasons they gave for the rent increase was their rising costs. However, they have let the cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of the building drastically deteriorate over the past year.
