The adjustments were great, but his coaching on how and what to stretch as well as exercises to strengthen certain areas in my hips and legs allowed me to finally get over some pretty awful lower back pain. We have worked with professional athletes in the NBA and NFL. Our goal was to get them back in the game as soon as possible.

Doctor Ryan is the owner of Kailua Wellness Center. He earned his Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sport Science at Brigham Young University Hawaii. He then graduated Dean's list from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS) Doctor of Chiropractic program. Dr. Ryan is trained in Sports Chiropractic, sports medicine and functional rehabilitation.
Located in beautiful downtown Kailua, we are a contemporary, busy wellness center that currently offers integrated chiropractic, massage, physical therapy and rehabilitation. We have recently expanded into a new location with lots of free customer and employee parking. We are looking for energetic and caring physicians and physical therapists to join our growing team.
Kailua Wellness Center offers one on one physical therapy in a private setting. Our therapists listen, set goals and create a treatment plan centered around your specific pain and injuries to optimize your health. Our physical therapists work with other Doctors and providers to provide you with the best outcomes.
What is Acupuncture? Acupuncturists insert tiny hairlike needles into the skin to promote blood circulation to specific areas. This activates your body's immune and nervous systems to reduce inflammation and release endorphins to alleviate pain. The history of acupuncture spans more than 2,000 years.
Hawaii is a no fault state. Which means if you were in an auto accident, your car insurance may pay for your medical bills for massage therapy, chiropractic and other services to help you recover from your injuries faster. I’m so glad a friend referred me to Dr. Ryan! After years of neglect and working from home I realized it was time to get an adjustment. I was anxious because I was in so much pain! The 2 wāhine at the front desk worked together to get me checked in & out! They were kind & understanding! Dr. Ryan was pleasant & very gentle knowing I was in pain. I have been coming for adjustments and massages for a very long time. The doctors, massage therapists and front desk staff are all professional and always super welcoming. The service is great too. Took care of my back problems after car accident. All doctors are great. See all 3 before you settle on your favorite one as you may be surprised that all of them do a great job adjusting. Highly recommend this center.

This is a great place, with many wonderful services. I have been for acupuncture, massage and chiropractic. I see Tylor Ryan as a chiropractor. I have seen many chiropractors over the years and he is definitely one of the best. Diane is wonderful as an acupuncturist, very gentle, kind and knowledgeable. I have seen many massage therapists over the years and have enjoyed most of them. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong.

Dr. Sauer is excellent. Every treatment makes me feel better. He is always concerned and sure to check if I am doing other things to assist myself. I had a massage with cupping. It was explained to me prior to the session and i was made fully aware of the red circles on my back. I was told to drink water and relax and that the circles would disappear on their own. The session and massage was great and I will return in the future. The place was clean and relaxing and any questions I had were answered.

Great customer service and amazing professionals. I really love this place because the people at the front desk are just the nicest and they are also very patient. If I were to choose a wellness center it would definitely be them. Not do they only have a lot of choices, they have good parking and very reasonable pricing. This place 100% deserves a 5⭐️

Dr. Hartenstein was able to significantly improve my chronic shoulder pain/tightness. She was incredibly kind and informative. She made me feel very comfortable and confident in what she was doing. I've tried multiple approaches to get rid of the knots in my back and shoulders, and my acupuncture session with her was the first time I found relief. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment!
