In practice since 2002, Dr. Deborah Iwasaki Glenn offers a natural approach to health care, free from medications and surgery. She grew up in Honolulu and moved to Kailua at age 12, where her father and his family are from. After graduating from Parker University with a Doctor of Chiropractic, she returned to our community to open Koolau Family Chiropractic.
After high school, Dr. Glenn entered the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and became a merchant mariner. She felt as if something were missing from her life, and had an interest in the health field. Her first encounter with chiropractic came about as a result of pain in her shoulders. The medical doctors told her to exercise more and didn't offer any other options.
With a nervous system that's operating optimally, your body can be allowed to heal. As a chiropractor, Dr. Glenn focuses on this important system, which is responsible for every function in your body. It's vital that everyone in your family is checked by a chiropractor to ensure that no problems are present that will hold you back from getting the most out of life.
You'll sit down with Dr. Glenn to discuss your health history and what has brought you in. Then, a chiropractic examination is performed. You'll receive a chiropractic adjustment. This appointment takes about 45 minutes. At your follow-ups, you'll talk with Dr. Glenn about how you've been since your last appointment.
