Anthony is a TCM Physician & California board certified Acupuncturist. He has been apprenticing with Master Shoubin Jia Yu for 6 years with interdisciplinary training involving martial arts, tuina, acupuncture and custom Chinese herbal formulas. While attending the Master's program at Dongguk University, LA, he worked at Yu Dayi Chinese Medicine Clinic for 4 years with an additional 1,500 hrs of clinical observation of the Yu Family method.
Acupuncture increases blood flow and free flow of Qi to the injured site helping to unlock stagnation and alleviate pain. Acupuncture utilizes the bodies neural network to mediate healing, sending signals at 300 miles/sec. Relief is almost felt immediately. I twisted my wrist and was in a lot of pain and swelling for two weeks. The pain pills would not work. I went to Dr. Yu and with the needles and pressure points, the pain was gone. I was able to regain movement in minutes. The swelling reduced with herbal oil medicine and I'm recovering quickly like in my high school days.

My uncle had brain cancer in 2015. After his chemotherapy he had new issues like seizures and lost movement and control of his left side.
After just 4 sessions of acupuncture here, there was great improvement. He walks better and faster. He can feel his left side he can move his left arm quite high and with less effort.

Ive traveled all the way from Norway to visit family for the holidays and wanted a acupuncture session w/ Dr Yu. He helped me with my hormonal acne and skin conditions that western medicine and topical treatment couldn't do. His mix of acupuncture and herbals helped me see results and skin healing after 3 wks. PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND COME HERE IF IN PAIN. Mr Yu helped save my life! I have had chronic back and neck pain with sciatica for over 6 years with no help. I have had surgery done by LAâs best surgeries and therapy with sports rehabilitation programs, but my pain still lingered. Within 2 treatments with Mr Yu of acupuncture I had much less pain, and by my third treatment I felt good as new. He is a miracle worker. This guy looked at my tongue and told me every part of my body that was hurting!! I mean come on! Take advantage of this genius man!! You owe it to yourself not to be in pain

Very good service, I came in for my ankle fractured and my pain went away as soon as he started the acupuncture! He then proceeded to rub my ankle with a herb oil and the swelling went down within a few minutes. I had also previously came for sciatica pain which also helped me a lot. The pain is still there but a lot less! I definitely plan to return until it's completely better!

Took my Dad here for his first time. He have had sciatica pain for 2 weeks and has been using all over the counter medicine and hot/ cold pad. After i took him to an urgent care, one of the lady works there recommend me to take him to this place to get acupuncture. For the first few minutes my Dad already got better and it getting better from that. Highly recommend this place for all whose feel pain and need acupuncture treatment!!!

I sprained my knee on a hiking accident over a month ago. The doctor's advice of ibuprofen, ice, elevation and a brace yielded zero results.

Thank you so much Dr. Yu for healing one of my family members again!!! Not only was he super professional but he was also very mindful of our concerns of covid. He wore a mask the entire time and made sure to clean the surfaces of all exposed skin before using his acupuncture needles.

Dr. Yu works miracles! He helped me cure my severe sciatica! I was bed ridden for a week before I called him. I couldn't move.. every time I sat up I cried my eyes out from all of the pain. I went to have an herbal consultation and acupuncture. My muscles and joints have felt a lot more comfortable since. The herbal supplements are high quality and are pleasant to taste, one with a faint hint of anise.

After a year of traditional therapy, medication and shots to treat my back injury I decided to try acupuncture. I wish I would have come sooner. Within two treatments I was feeling so much better and have not taken any pain medication in over 5 months. I came back in for a follow up and to treat some myself to some stress relief and it is well worth the time and money. I highly recommend Yu Dayi in Moorpark.

Dr. Yu did an amazing job. He was very nice and caring about my cousin because she does not like needles. He helped her stay calm and put the needle in. He explains why he does what he does. Dr. Jia Yu is a great acupuncturist and very honest. His method of acupuncture is unique and the most effective, I have encountered so far. I came in with an acute incident of high blood pressure on a Sunday afternoon and not only my pressure returned to normal in a matter of seconds, my headache went away, I slept like a baby that day, wake up rested the next and full of energy. Since then it hasn't happened again. He also taught me some points in case that happened again to deal with it on my own. Acupuncture works!!!

Once Again Dr Yu did another AMAZING JOB my wife's sciatica was so bad causing pain from her lower back to behind her knee not being able to sleep hardly walk every step causing pain, and we came back to Dr Yu and with in minutes he had her up and walking pain free simply amazing he is hands down the BEST Acupuncture Doctor you will ever meet I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone that is suffering from pain or Migraines we drive over 2 hours just to be seen by him and he's well worth the drive and will continue coming to him for anything pain related

Jia was extremely helpful! I've had chronic pain in my kidney from a previous auto transplant as a kid. Both times I've gone to him my pain subsided! I just had my second treatment and am looking forward to seeing how I feel in the next coming days. I feel great now! He is a very kind person and answers any questions I've had. Dr. Jia is a wonderful and incredibly experienced Doctor who has helped me greatly with persistent headaches.
For those who don't know: there are several different styles of acupuncture, and based on your body, his style can initially hurt more than expected, but that doesn't mean his treatment isn't working!
If you are open minded and follow his instructions I have no doubt he can cure just about anything!

MISS RAE , I saw your comment about Dr Yu practice, my mother was that lady screaming and crying of the pain in the next room your mention in your comments. Yes, she was screaming but because the damage in her body was severe too tender and ever to touch her skin was so much pain for her but I recommend to everybody to give Dr Yu a try
I cannot be thankful enough to Dr Yu for the treatments that he has don't so far for my mother.

Dr Yu did accupuncture on me a week ago. I have been to my western medical doctor and he prescribed pharmaceutical' s. The meds dont work that well and I still had pain in my hip on the left side. Dr. Yu asked for me to show him where the pain is. He put 2 needles in my left ring finger above the knuckles. The pain quit immediately. I was definitely impressed and recommend him.
