Probate is the court process by which your assets are transferred at your death if you have a Will or if you don't have a Will. Depending on your situation, the process of probate could range from a simple court proceeding to a complex process. In any circumstance, it is in your best interest to contact a qualified attorney to handle the administration of your family member's probate estate.
When you lose a close family member, not only are you faced with grief but also the task of putting his or her affairs in order. Whether you are an heir or the executor of an estate, it can be confusing to know what steps need to be taken in order to administer your loved one's estate.
While sometimes an estate will need to be administered in probate court, there are many instances where part or all of the estate can be handled by a qualified lawyer outside of court. In trust and estate administration, a dedicated attorney can take care of the complex details and ensure that your loved one's final wishes are carried out.

Peninsula Law dragged out our probate and I am not happy with the level of service provided. In my opinion Peninsula Law's office and staff was poorly managed. I found the firm to be very inefficient. 11 people were involved which eventuated into poor handovers; work was farmed out to several independent lawyers, with little or no probate law experience, and I found no consistent flow in the process. There were several repeated requests for the same items and very sloppy and inaccurate documentation. We were billed associate attorney fees for research which I believe may have been done by

My favorite quote of Dave Barry's is, "If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person." It doesn't hurt to ask how long the employees have been there. When a law office goes through an incredibly high rate of turnover, many projects are often left uncompleted or simply take too long, which can end up costing the client unnecessary expense. It might result in a client having to pay on a bond that they otherwise wouldn't have to. Causing clients to incur unnecessary expense is likely a violation of that attorney's fiduciary duties to the client.

Excellent Probate and Litigation Attorney
I met Beti almost two years ago after my husband helped me search and search and finally narrow down the right attorney to represent my case. Her area of expertise, in living trusts, probation and litigation, was exactly what I was looking for. However, her upmost qualities of being a mother and protecting family values is what connected me to her. Beti and her team, at Peninsula Law, were amazing to work with. Beti tactfully handled my situation and continuously followed up with me to make sure we were always on the same page. She successfully represented
