If your child's tooth has come out too soon because of decay or an accident, it is important to maintain the space to prevent future space loss and dental problems when permanent teeth begin to come in. Without the use of a space maintainer, the teeth that surround the open space can shift, impeding the permanent tooth's eruption.

Daynie was very professional and helpful. Office staff is always very courteous and sweet to my grandchildren. I brought my children here till there were 18 and now I am bringing my grandsons. Kid-Friendly: you're probably thinking "obviously... it's a pediatric dental office".. but not everyone who works in a pediatric office is good with kids! We have not had a negative experience with anyone in the office. They are excellent with talking to the kids about what all the tools are ("mr thirsty" is my favorite), and what they're going to do, making sure that the child is comfortable with them.
The office itself is very appealing to the kids! the waiting area has a big salt water tank, of course with "

All of the staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. We leave all our visits satisfied and knowing what needs to improve or continue the good work. The waiting area is spacious and kid friendly. We love this place and all the staff and always recommend for friends and family to at least try and give this dental service a chance but we promise once you do you will continue to comeback every 6 months to a year. Thank you for all you do. We appreciate you all. The Worst Ohana.

We’ve always gone here and had no problems until our last visit. My 7y/o was diagnosed with a cavity on 7/27. The dentist (who was covering for our usual dentist and I had never seen before) said it was getting close to a nerve and should get fixed ASAP. They scheduled it for 8/12. I told them it would be really difficult for me or my husband… to get off work that day and I would be available the ENTIRE preceding week. They said they would call if anything opened up. They didn’t call and I couldn’t get off work. Now they are saying the next earliest appointment is 9/26

Dr. Tamura is the best pediatric dentist. Hands down. My son is 3 and had some cavities that needed to be fixed and my son is a crier and scared. He was the best in calming him down and was able to complete the procedure. He even called me in the afternoon to check on my son. I can't thank him and his staff enough for their professionalism as well as how nice they all are.

I'm reading all the great reviews here about these amazing doctors and I'm so sad that my family had such a bad experience. The nurse staff were amazing. But when it came to the doctor she wasn't friendly, or hospitable. The opposite of what we strive for in healthcare. When working with peoples children you would think to be a bit more personable. Unfortunately we will have to switch dentist offices...

Ample and free parking, centrally located at the top of Pearlridge. Play area in the waiting room, lots of magazines, lots of room, and multiple flat screen TVs on kid-friendly programming. Even a fish tank with Nemo and Dory look alikes in front. Plus the office decorates like a Broadway play every Halloween!
Accepts insurance and is very knowledgeable and on point about processing insurance--no worries! Accepts

Excellent client service!! It all started with a phone call to make a first appointment for my 11 month old son. I spoke with Summer who was extremely helpful and patient with me. She had such great phone etiquette and was very personable. Upon taking my son into the office we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and again Summer assisted me. Dr. Sato examined my son, he was very informative. We felt so happy and were treated so well it was beyond my expectation for a dentist office. 1st visit to a dentist for my kids. Dr Tamura and the staff took great care of us. Took the time to explain things throughly, give us helpful tips. My daughter absolutely loves going to the dentist here. My oldest had an absolutely bad experience at another dentist (they strapped her down at 2 years old for a cleaning). So to see dentists that are so caring and patient was a relief.
I recommend this place to every parent I know. Especially Dr. Tamura.

We have been coming here over 10 years. For those past 10 years service has been consistent, excellent, and professional. Every visit runs smoothly. You check in, get your teeth cleaned, see your dentist for any concern, schedule your next appointment, pay your bill and your out the door. They're up to date with technology so you'll get a reminder through text and email.
My children sees Dr. Teruya and he treats all of us with respect. He's good with my children so I'm sure
