I’ve used Ian for 2 home inspections and wouldn’t trust anyone else except for him. He’s very knowledgeable, professional, on time, and has great attention to detail. Ian is an inspector of superior expertise. He will tell you everything you need to know before you purchase your house, whether it's a major, structural problem or merely a minor, cosmetic fix. I have used him for two homes. In my opinion, he saved my life on one, and I plan to use his detailed inspection of the other as a roadmap forward for my own home repairs. Ian inspected our new building in Castleton and he did a wonderfully thorough job - including crawling into a small access panel to determine the condition of the attic (and it was a very hot day!). His inspection allowed me to ask the seller for a price reduction due to some repairs that were needed, so I ended up saving about 10x the cost of his inspection.
