Sitting 104 feet below ground Oak Mountain Winery boasts the first and only subterranean mined wine cave in Southern California, creating a unique one of a kind experience for our guests to come enjoy. Join us on one of our Cave Wine Tasting Tours where you will indulge in different varietals of our wine while touring inside of our cave and learning the history of Oak Mountain Winery and Temecula Wine Country.
Yet the public craved more. In 2005 at the demand for more wine and a convenient location, Oak Mountain Winery opened a tasting room just off of the De Portola Wine Trail. However, thanks to their loyal customers and expanding fan base, the winery began to grow out of this space as well. Yet, rather than expanding out, they will be expanding IN.
Members of Oak Mountain Winery's Platinum and Premium Clubs receive 6 bottles each quarter during the months of March, June, September and December. The Gold Club members receive 4 specially selected bottles of wine every quarter during the months of March, June, September and December. Each wine is personally chosen by our winemaker.

This place is a gem I can't put it in other words.
Everything from the service, the wine and the food where amazing. Our tour guide Noah was witty and fun, he made everybody laugh. After that we ordered at The Cave we sat outside where we took in the beautiful view while we ate delicious food that just made the whole experience better.
We are visiting California for the first time and this was truly a magical experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Just tried the new distillery that opened this weekend it's called 36522 The distillery. It is a more intimate experience as the max occupancy in the building is 49 people. You do need reservations and they will not take walk ins. We tried some delicious appetizers and their new cocktails (cocktails were strong). The margarita tasted like fresh lime, the bees knees was sweet like honey, the strawberry daiquiri was a bit sour, the new york sour was sweet and tasty, the revolver had a dark coffee flavor, and the smoked old fashion was probably one of my favorites you could really taste the smoky

Visited here with my family while in Temecula and overall we had a great experience. We had a group of 9 and we arrived a little after they opened at 11am. They sat us inside near the wine tasting cave and it was all decked out in Christmas decorations!
We ordered a couple flights (one wine and one mimosa) the mimosa one was pricey but it came with an entire bottle of champagne that we shared amongst the table and some mix ins to sweeten them up.

Probably should have eaten but didn't realize how busy they would be and how nice a venue this is. Our server for tastings was personable and knowledgeable and we very much enjoyed the varieties especially the reds. This winery is a hidden treasure worth a detour from the main path out of Temecula. We will definitely come back.

We ordered several lunch items, such as the Short Rib Philly ($17.99), Shrimp Ceviche ($15.49), Prosciutto Apple & Goat Cheese Flatbread ($16.99) and a Margarita Flat Bread ($14.99), along with a bottle of the Raspberry Sparkling ($34.00) wine.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The service was top notch. Every single person that worked there was so nice! Not to mention, they treated our dog, Lucy, like a princess. She was given a bowl with ice wafer and served chicken and noodles off the dog menu! We did the cave tour which was given by Mike (M2) , and he was great! The cave is beautiful. The wines were great and the little charcuterie plate they serve on the tour was delicious. Afterwards, we had dinner and Christian was our server. He was super friendly and attentive! Excellent experience at the Oak Mountain Winery and Cave Cafe. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour guid was superb and very informative about wines and it's process. The Cave was amazing and unique experience. Food was delicious and the service was excellent!!! I will invite my friends and family to join me next time. Cheer!!!a

Everything was amazing in the beginning .Ordered food afterward, it took approx 45 min to 1 hour to receive my Cave Burger.The Burger bun was icy cold.The waiter Ray was great very helpful. My friends received their food 30 minutes before me. When my food arrived they were ready to leave but were willing to wait. Bun was cold and I had no desire to wait longer.Food looked good. Friends food tasted good. Will try Winery again.

What a super cool place to have lunch! Went there today for the first time and loved it! Being inside the cave with all the wine barrels around was just so cool. But, the food was also great! I had the Cuban panini which had a ton of meats and was pressed perfectly. Today's soup was ham and potato which I've got to say, was the best part of my lunch. My husband had the bison burger which was HUGE!!!! Overall, loved this place. The service was great. Will definitely be coming back!!!

A very delightful winery and the first alleged wine cave, since I thought my wine cave was the first. A 104 ft subterranean wine cave where you can wine taste and eat. But definitely a must-experience- stop in #Temecula wine region.. just don’t get in the way of servers when inside the cave.. most staff is very friendly and accommodating..

Unbelievable horrible experience. Had a 12:30 reservation for lunch here and then a 2pm wine tour. We understood that the kitchen was going through renovation and that the menu was limited heading in. However, by 1:50 and nearly an hour and a half later, our food still hadn't come out. Since our 2pm wine tour was the last one for the day, they had to cancel our food and we headed over to the tour on an empty stomach. Our entire time sitting there, we saw 3 sandwich come out. This was by far the best food I have had at a winery. The inside of the cave was so magical with it's beautiful lights and scores of wine barrels. I think you pay for the amazing food as well as the beautiful scenery while eating your food. The cubano was to die for and the cheesy bread was perfect for the whole table to share. The servers were incredibly nice and made our time very enjoyable. The first of many visits! Definitely recommend to anyone in Temecula wine country.

We came via BEST COAST tours. The tour included a flight of wines, a charcuterie board and a mini tour of the cave. The tour guide was super nice and informative. The winery was picturesque and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cave, however, was legit cool. They host weddings, bridal parties and have memberships.

Really enjoyed the dining experience. The food was extremely delicious. All tables were distanced and it felt very safe. They offered our dog some water and a biscuit, and we even ordered off the dog menu. Their wine selection was a little limited due to covid, but everything we ordered was still good. Hope to be able to come back and enjoy the inside cave once it's safe again.

What a wonderful experience!!! Decided to grab a Groupon for Valentines Day and used it after to beat the crowds, this one was so worth it in so many ways and more. Plenty of parking and we made reservations for lunch. We were greeted right away and had a perfect table set in the corner of the restaurant. It felt very romantic and we were the only ones inside so it made it a even more personable experience.
The waiter was so polite and gave us the best food suggestions I couldn't wait to receive our meal. He was also very knowledgeable about all the wine as well.
