Advanced Women's Healthcare accepts most insurance plans, although we may not be "in-network" on all plans. We ask that you make sure Advanced Women's Healthcare is a participating healthcare provider (in-network) for your insurance plan. Insurance companies are increasingly selling plans that have a narrow network of providers and will not provide benefits if you go "out of network."

A new Patient Portal was implemented that can email you reminders at 4am but that you cannot reply to. You are also required to sign up for this patient portal (mind you this is on top of others such as MyChart) but you cannot send a message to them through it. Patient appts require a 48 hour cancellation but their hours or method of communication have not changed to improve their accessibility and you cannot leave a message after hours. Their answering service only takes emergency calls. For a woman that is a working professional - I find this very frustrating that I cannot maintain preventative

We had our 3rd child with this office and we are now using them for our 4th. All the staff are friendly and their providers are professional and thorough. We liked when it was only women doctors, BUT we met with one of the new male doctors 2 weeks ago. He was incredible. Great bedside manner. Personable. Super smart. My wife and I felt very comfortable with him. Dr. Fergon does a great job of running this place.

My first pregnancy experience was here . Didn’t know what to expect but now having gone through two other similar providers I’d say my overall experience was really good . The initial setup , explanation on the process and all my appointments went very well. All the OBs were nice and helpful . Bedside manner was good . The ultrasound tech was very good ! Just got my anatomy scan done somewhere else and what a difference. The ultrasound tech at advance women in la Quinta was very good at explaining every little thing. Told me which ovary was the culprit for getting me pregnant. She even caught

The staff has always been great and they have always helped in any way. MaryJo is EXCELLENT when it comes to handling paperwork and sending out disability papers. In all honesty I've never had an issue with anything. I've gone to them with my last two pregnancies and they have been nothing but great in helping me with my pregnancies or any issues I have had.

My fiance and I are expecting our first child. We came here and from the very first appoint there has been nothing but problems with the insurance they take. Every time we got it resolved something new would always come up. The front staff always seem to be in a bad mood and are not very helpful. After a while we decided to try a new facility for our baby. That meant having to transfer my fiances medical records. A couple days away from her appointment the new facility we are attending called and informed us that the medical records were not transferred. She is a 7 months and cannot be seen at

I’m going on my second pregnancy with AWHC. I could share my own personal experiences here, as I have had great and awful care, but I will keep it generic. There is no standard of quality. Some staff is great and exceeds expectation- while other staff members are unprofessional, lack tact, and are just plain rude. The owner has called to apologize to me twice, but nothing ever changes. It’s a big office and they do not pretend to care about you. You are a number to them. The phone nurse is extremely rude and does not return calls when you have a concern. I will probably be changing my entire

I have honestly never had a negative experience at this office. Yes the office is busy but I feel as though they do their best to accommodate all needs. I think they are friendly, courteous, and do their jobs. The staff and doctors have all been able to answer my questions or concerns in a professional manner. I think that everybody's experience is different but their customer service towards myself and my pregnancy have been very positive.
