Grand ma lived till the age of 94, and all through her last years, we took care of her as a family right at home. It never occurred to us that one day we will be providing other families care similar to what we provided to our own grand ma. In February of 2018, we opened Metro Boston Home Care. We are firm believers in the healing power in a home setting.
Depending on the situation, a person may need help around-the-clock, once a day, or for just a few hours a week. For instance, some people use home care briefly to recover from an injury or a hospitalization. Others use it to supplement services from assisted living or retirement communities. Still others use it to remain healthy and independent at home, despite chronic illness or the gradual diminishment of capabilities that come with aging.
Caring for seniors is a labor of love that requires a special person and just the right touch. Together, we can make a difference in the life of a senior living at home. MBHC staff were immediately available to us when we needed them the most and the care has been consistent, kind, and capable. What a life-saver they were when our lives suddenly turned up side down following my 90 - year old Mother's stroke. She is doing much better now...and so are we. We can sleep through the night knowing she is in excellent hands. In addition, the staff are able to make helpful suggestions for her care. We thank Metro Boston for being there for us.

The team at Metro Boston Home care has been extremely helpful finding caregivers for my husband. They've give us prompt attention, always try to accommodate our needs, even at short notice.
