We filter applicants that do not meet our minimum requirements, like certificates, experience, and medical requirements. Once hired, every caregiver attends our orientation session, where they learn about best home care practices.

My mother is getting some of her in-home care from Mavencare, and Victoria, who is in charge of scheduling, has been helping us. I have been very impressed with her work. She has been very efficient, very tolerant of requests for scheduling changes, extremely patient, and very kind and personable. In particular, since this past Saturday when we lost our live-in caregiver, literally from one day to the next, she has "saved our bacon" and with a great deal of empathy at a time of extreme stress for me and my son and daughter. On short notice Mavencare came to my rescue when I was in dire need. They visited my mother in hospital in the afternoon and a PSW showed up at our home the next day, and for the next eleven weeks. More importantly you can contact your team anytime if you have concerns. We built very close relationships with some of our support workers. Mavencare was there when we I needed them.

Do no work for this company if you want live ins. They are crooks. They will cheat you out of your correct pay. They do not care at all about their aides. They do what a lot of private companies do. They program their system not to pay you your full amount. They have cut off points at certain times, so they don't have to pay you your full day. This is something they have down to a
science.
They are extremely efficient at cheating their live in aides. So much so, that a three day live in aide, and 4 day live in aide GET THE SAME PAY. As a matter a fact, the 4 day aide's check was 12

My father has been using Mavencare's services for over a year and we have been extremely happy with exceptional care provided by their PSW's (Mae Esther and Lillibeth). We have built relationships with them and are like family now. They have provided our family with much support that could never be duplicated. Don't bother calling these people--after your first contact they'll chase you by email and phone, lure you with great bios of amazing professionals for you love one and then leave in a lurch last minute with no help. The most unprofessional crew I've ever seen. Beware of Amy and Her colleagues' representations and promises. They are fabrications.

I came across Mavencare after a horrendous experience with another agency. Am I ever glad that I found them. They are extremely reliable, provide quality caregivers and are available 24-hours in case of emergencies. My rep's name is Stephanie and she is detail oriented, friendly and very responsible in getting me the best care for my parents. I don't know what I would do without Mavecare on my team.

I have been dealing with several agencies but my experience with Mavencare is far most the best. Whenever I encounter any issue, all the co-ordinators have been getting back to me and solving my issues within the 24 hr time frame. They always take the time to listen and to get back to me with a favourable response. I can see that they are very compassionate and they put the client needs first (which is very important for me while dealing with any agency).

Working for Mavencare as a PSW has been wonderful. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the scheduling system accomodating. Mavencare has made necessary supports and communication channels easily available to staff, clients and family members, which I find greatly increases effectiveness and cohesiveness of care. The coordinated and organized shifts allow for easy transfer of care from one caregiver to another. Great organization to work for!
