Histown was birthed over nineteen years ago when we saw an opportunity to provide training in several genres of dance in a Christian setting, where dancers can use their God-given gifts and talents for ministry, outreach and entertainment. With an emphasis on strong technique and professional training, it is our goal to provide a positive, fun and encouraging atmosphere where every dancer feels the love of Christ.
We also wanted to help dancers see there is more to dance than the applause of man and that because God deserves our very best they should strive for excellence. We encourage each dancer to be the best they can be, without feeling the need or pressure to compete with each other, and view dance as a team activity where it's important to support and cheer on their fellow dancers along the way.

Services
Whether you need to rent a space for a private dance lesson, performance rehearsal, special one-off event like a birthday party, business seminar, or maybe even a regular on-going activity, we might have the space for you. With five different studios to choose from, our facility has been rented out for all of the above.
We're excited to be able to offer four new Creative Movement classes as part of what we call a "Mini-Mester" that runs for five weeks this fall! And there are no costume fees, recital fees or registration fees involved. Cost for the five week session is $110. You can have the little dancer in your family try out the first class for free and only pay the $110 if you decide to sign up for the five week session.
These classes provide a fun, creative and game filled way to get children to understand how to control their movements and learn the introduction to terminology, positions, following ability, movement and choreography. Classes are offered for ages 2-3 and 3-5. All taught in a positive, encouraging environment.
For the dancer that dreams about being a beautiful ballerina dancing across the room, our Creative Movement Ballet classes are for them. The class is a fun, creative and game filled way for your child to explore the world of dance while getting an introduction to terminology, positions, following ability, movement and choreography.
A Creative Movement dance class that incorporates sign language, learning colors and shapes, social interaction with other children, following instructions and more. It's a fun and engaging developmental class involving parent and child and is a great class to help your child transition into a dance class on their own.

My 4 year old daughter has danced at Histown for almost 2 years now. Even though she is young the lessons she has learned in class have been so valuable (following directions, body control, making friends, etc)! On top of that, she LOVES it! She dances all over the house showing off the different moves and ballet words she knows.

We have been dancing at Histown since my daughter was three and cannot wait for her baby sister to begin class when old enough. Histown offers a an array of classes with the most amazing Christian teachers. Our daughter is not only gaining a love for dance but also strengthening her love for the Lord. If you are looking for a dance studio to call “home” then Histown is the right place for you!

My daughter has been dancing at this studio for two years now. As homeschoolers, it has given her a space to be consistently social with her friends, have a positive mentor in her teacher, and learn excellent technique. I also love the location because I can run errands down the street (Costco, Aldi, Target) and make it back with plenty of time to catch her dancing before the end of class!

I cannot say enough good things about Histown. They have accepted my daughter into a class even though the semester had already started. They let us try 3 different types of classes before we chose 1. They offered a make up class when she missed due to a runny nose. Also, Miss Linda and Mr Ken are so responsive and helpful every time I reach out via email or I person. Great experience all around!

We have been attending HisTown dance studio for almost a year. The owners are extremely kind, compassionate, and understanding. This same philosophy resonates to all of their dance instructors.
My daughter absolutely loves this place. It's challenging, entertaining and, above all, safe. As a parent, I could not ask for more.

Can't say enough good things about this studio! High quality instruction, Christian based, and caring owners! They make you feel like you are part "of the family." Very supportive atmosphere by the staff, fellow dancers and parents. Worth every minute of your time spent here! Christ is clearly at the center of this dance studio...
