Services
For both women and men, BOTOX(R) will temporarily improve the appearance of facial wrinkles, including crow's feet, frown lines, forehead wrinkles, "bunny" lines on the nose, and lines around the mouth. The treatment can last up to four months. Dr. Mullans performs all BOTOX(R) injections and the procedure usually takes about 10-15 minutes.
Chemical peels improve the skin's appearance by causing it to separate, peel off and allow new skin to regenerate. Wrinkles and fine lines caused by sun damage, aging, and hereditary factors can be reduced or eliminated by the use of chemical peeling agents. Chemical peeling can be an effective treatment to reduce or remove age spots, freckles, blotchiness, dullness, and discoloration.
Fraxel treatments improve tone, texture and radiance of the skin to address signs of aging, sun damage or scarring. It is for those who want to look younger without dramatic changes or extended downtime. Fraxel laser treatment targets aging and sun-damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin to expedite your body's remodeling of collagen.
CoolSculpting is fat-freezing technology that provides a non-surgical fat reduction treatment for stubborn trouble spots such as the abdomen, flanks, or under the chin. It can result in a 20%-25% reduction in fat-layer thickness after a single session and full results are typically seen in two to six months after treatment.
Using the body's own growth factors, platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP) triggers hair growth in areas of thinness or baldness. The treatment originated in Europe more than a decade ago and has been used in many areas of medicine, including orthopedics and dentistry. We also use PRP with microneedling to generate collagen growth in the skin.

I’m not at all surprised with the bad reviews about Allison, who took my phone call this morning. She was actually great with helping me understand my insurance coverage when I called and set my first appointment, but unfortunately some things came up consecutively and I missed my first and second set appointments. Shame on me, I know. When I called to ask about scheduling another one, she explained I couldn’t set an appointment again because “we could’ve made money instead of you not showing up” or something to that effect. Lady, I’m in sales and know not to say that to a customer

I’m so pleased with the service I received at Uptown Dermatology. Allison (receptionist) makes booking an appointment or paying a bill a breeze and she’s always so lovely to talk with. Dr. Mullans was incredibly kind and thorough during my skin care check. Additionally, she’s very patient-listened and responded to all of my questions. Not only this, but she has a wonderful sense of humor that totally eased me during my appointment. BIG thanks to the staff here. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the receptionist Allison is very rude and she is never helpful. If you have a complain about her please reply to my message. Allison will not let you go through to Dr. Mullan or Yvette. It is very concerning. I called them last week to make an appointment and left Allison a voicemail message. What do I get? She said called me and MAKE the appointment without me even confirming it! How does that!? I called today to see if I could schedule the appointment and she told me I did not go to the appointment she made me…I was like what?!!! What is she talking about? She mentioned she called

I couldn't agree with Kayla D. more. Dr. Mullans and her nurse are absolutely fantastic; however, Allison is wretched. I am new to Houston and was very pleased to find such a fantastic doctor so close to where I live. After my first visit, I made a follow up appointment, which I unfortunately had to cancel and successfully did so. I was unable to reschedule because I started a new job and didn't know when I would be available. Allison took it upon herself to reschedule for me and left me a voicemail. I do not check my voicemail on a regular basis and therefore never received her message (she also

I have been a patient for about 20 years, since college. Appointment times are always flexible around my schedule, I get all of my questions answered without feeling rushed, and Dr. Mullans is very professional and thorough. I only need to see her once or twice a year, but treats me and my wife like family. She is always very enthusiastic about helping my medical conditions and offers multiple options, allowing me to participate in the treatment. Her nurse Yvette is amazing, love visiting with them both. I wish all Dr visits were this pleasant and productive.

I have been a patient with Dr. Mullans for nearly a decade and have had pleasant experiences with both her and her nurse, Yvette. But Allison is wretched! Per usual practices I received a reminder call for an follow-up appointment. I returned the call to inform her that I couldn't make the appointment and she rescheduled. I was in route to a meeting when the call was made therefore unable to put in on my calendar, but figured I'd receive a call a day or two prior to remind me of the appointment. I never received a call and figured it was never scheduled. Months later I received a call from collections
