Compressed hydrogen is used for a variety of applications including alternative fuels, chemical manufacturing, industrial applications, hydrogenation of oils and research and development applications. The majority of these applications require clean, high pressure gas. In response to these applications we have developed the techniques to safely, cleanly and reliably compress this difficult gas.
As an alternative to pyrotechnic inflators, stored gas inflators rely on compressed gas to deploy the inflator. Depending upon the deisgn these inflators will use Argon, Helium, Nitrogen or a mixture of these gases. In response to demand Hydro-Pac has developed a complete system to cleanly compress the gas while providing a dependable operation.
Hot isostatic pressing (H.I.P.) is a high-temperature, high-pressure manufacturing process used to eliminate impurities in metal castings and other materials. Our experience includes manufacturing compressors, valve racks and high-pressure vessels for hot isostatic pressing applications at pressure ranges from 10,000 to 60,000 psig (69 to 414 MPa).
