The Fowkes Family has been building (and living) in the Hamptons since the 1960's. Over the last 45 years, we have successfully completed-literally-hundreds of projects on the East End. Our decades of experience and connection to the area enable us to consistently deliver finely crafted homes that exceed our customers' expectations.
Over the years, many customers have come to Fowkes Builders looking to do a light renovation (i.e. a makeover) on their home. Those whose homes may be on the market for sale and a relatively small update on the inside might greatly increase the sales price and/or speed up the sale of the house. Those who are looking to rent their house and need to freshen up the interiors to maximize the rental.

Fowkes builders designed and built my house and I have to say they exceeded my expectations. The final product turned out great. Going in, I had no idea how complex building a house would be - zoning laws, the NYS and East hampton building codes, construction loan, etc. It could’ve been overwhelming. Fortunately for me, FOWKES builders know exactly what to do every juncture. I appreciate how they involve me in the creative aspects of the job but did not involve me in the headaches of building a house. The owner, BILL FOWKES, was an active part of the construction process. At times he was the

I am a repeat customer at Fowkes Builders. I have completed two renovations with them, and most recently, they built my brand-new home. And I love it. In all cases, the work they did was very detailed and of very high quality. They were extremely knowledgeable about the construction process as well as things I didn’t even know existed—for instance, when they designed my house, they were also taking into account how the design could minimize the real estate taxes I would pay. They knew enough to select the right windows, insulation and heating system, making my house extremely energy efficient
