We were happy clients of a vet in Belton where our dogs loved the staff there, were well cared for but they closed. We sought out based on reviews a vet/kennel in Salado. Our dogs stayed a few times no problems. The last time our youngest dog was seriously ill, limped and could not wake up. We were told it was because the dog was stressed. We brought them home thinking the one dog would get better. The other dog was fine. The ill dog still could not wake up/eat/interact the next day so we went to SVH. We were put on a wait list and we're seen by Dr Heelan and VetTech Jackie. A thorough exam/bloodwork

Dr. Schultze was amazing with my B&G Macaw. He spent time asking and answering questions. I did not feel rushed. He even gave me some tips for natural branches to add to his cage. The facility was clean and well taken care of. I’m so lucky to have found a great vet in the small town I just moved to! Though I would travel far for a place like this.

Dr Schultze is by far one of the best vets in this area. I absolutely love him and his staff they are always fantastic with my feathered and furry babies. The staff knows me by name and are always so sweet to me and my pets. The technicians have cried with me and hugged me during some very difficult times they definitely feel like family.

I can not thank them enough for seeing our little papillon. She is 8 years old and has always been of good health, active and always on the go and alert. One night she came in limping, balance was off and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. Everyone at Salado Veterinary Hospital were so supportive and helpful. From the moment of getting help… over the phone to leaving our visit. Everything was so thorough and Dr. took her time examining and explaining all her findings and instructions. My family is so grateful. Thank you Salado Veterinary Hospital!! 🐾
