In 1991, he graduated from Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, TN earning a Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD). Upon graduating, Dr. Trocchi wanted to return to his hometown of Waterbury, CT.

I have been a patient a Dr. Trocci since he opened his practice and I have nothing but the upmost respect for him and his office staff they have always been ever so accommodating & made sure I understood every procedure they were doing and pricing he’s a wonderful doctor and it’s a pleasure to go to the office

Was always very nice to me, but somehow missed that both of my retinas had detached. I didn’t realize until I had started to lose vision in my left eye.
I didn’t have any symptoms beforehand so he never checked, but every doctor I’ve visited since has told me they would have been checking proactively given my prescription at the time.

My husband called twice to ask for directions because he was having a hard time finding the office and the secretary was extremely rude to him and gave him very vague directions as if his phone call was wasting her time. He gets into the office and the doctor is extremely condescending when letting him know that the Eye Exam wasn’t covered under our insurance, only materials were (we are new to this insurance and still navigating how everything works, there is nothing wrong with that).
