Springsgeek is dedicated to helping people solve their computer issues and to educate them on the technologies they interact with daily. Our Knowledgeable support agents are here to address problems in your home or small office computing systems. In order to fulfill Springsgeek's primary mission, we offer professional help either remote or in person to fully solve your computer problem.
We offer remote support through two different applications. The first is teamviewer which is quite popular and the second is anydesk which though less popular works very well and efficiently on windows machines. Our rate is $30 per hour for remote support service. There is a minimum charge of $30 for the first hour regardless of the time service is actually completed in.

We've been using Springs Geek for years. Be sure to check the hours before you go; it's a little different than the standard. The atmosphere is a classic IT department with equipment and cables sprawled about. He can help you with just about anything, and at a fair price and timely response. I usually go for an annual cell phone screen replacement, but we also had a hard drive recover. We usually have questions about other items like drones, gaming consoles, etc.

I called ahead describing an overheating problem for my PS4 console. The guy had me come in the next day so he could diagnose it and see what the issue was. I came in, and he went to work on the console as I watched. It was a simple issue, and took him 10 minutes in total to diagnose and fix the problem. The whole time, he engaged me in intelligent and down to earth conversation.
At the end, I whipped out my wallet, ready to pay the man, and he insisted that no payment was necessary. He told me that it was a quick fix and hardly required effort on his part and he was happy to help. What a guy

I am so happy I found this local business! I brought my laptop in for virus removal on Tuesday at 3pm. By 7:30pm, they called to let me know my laptop was all finished and ready to be picked up! We highly recommend SpringsGeek! Admittedly, when our laptop that we depend on for business froze, we contacted a big box store to see if it could be fixed. Without really asking any questions, we were told we could bring it in and pay $230 (!) plus likely some additional costs and they "might" fix it. We searched for other options and found Alex and SpringsGeek and thank goodness we did. Alex was polite and professional on the phone and in person. My ASUS Zenbook is my right hand for the past year. I work on deadlines. Literally while on a conference call it went to sleep and never woke up. There were no warning symptoms or messages. As luck would have it it was 3 weeks out of warranty. I spent an hour on the phone with the manufacturer 's Tech Support troubleshooting and trying to restart it. I could hear Windows 10 coming back up but couldn't see a thing; not a glimmer, flicker or squiggle of light on the screen.
The only physical support/repair offered was via mail to the vendor and then forwarding onto manufacturer for repair

I would highly recommend Springsgeek for your computer repair needs. He is fast and polite and does great work. I had a cooling problem with my computer and he repaired it cleaned the entire insides and replaced the hard drive. While he was cleaning it he popped off a key and replaced the entire key board free of charge. His prices are reasonable and he stands by his work. You won't be sorry using Springsgeek.

I went by their office today to get my phone repaired. There was a sign on the door that they were out on a call. So I called their number, got voice mail and left a message. I called again 2 hours later and again left a message. It's now 7 hours after my first call - and no call back. I got my phone repaired at another location about a mile north.

I have to give Alex very top marks for being responsive, considerate, understanding of the stress and distress involved and going the extra mile to help resolve the situation at a reasonable cost . I had a Windows boot sector crash and he was able to not only save my data and get Windows reinstalled and even had me back up and running by the next day. My Computer Guy, aka Springsgeek.com, is great! Alex was a great guy. He was very nice, personable, helpful, informative, fast, and affordable. He was able to help me as soon as I called and drove over. He saved my data and gave me piece of mind (because I was sending my laptop to the manufacturer for repair and wanted to know I still had my data.) I will surely recommend him (in person) and return to his shop.
