AST is committed to advanced manufacturing technology by offering the latest in precision laser cutting services. AST has CO as well as the latest in Fiber Laser Cutting capabilities. Our 4-Axis CO Laser is a high speed 3-dimensional, 4-axis 4,000 Watt laser system with dual pallet changer and a Rotary indexer that is capable of cutting Round tubing, Square Tubing, Rectangular Tubing, Angle Tubing, and Channel tubing.
AST is part of an exclusive group of companies that offer 5-axis waterjet cutting. Our waterjet cutting table has an 8' x 12' cutting envelope with 36 of cutting height clearance. Our 5-Axis waterjet cutting head will rotate to 90 degrees from upright center and 720 circular degrees. Which means that AST Waterjet can solve almost any shape-cutting problem you may have.
At AST we have three large tables with ten cutting heads that all utilize the latest in CNC controls and Diamond Waterjet cutting heads to ensure that we cut our products with the highest quality and efficiency. Our 150 horsepower pumps ensure that we are delivering 55,000 PSI to all of our cutting heads.
AST's CNC Routing table is state of the art. The table has a 92" x 192" Vacuum-based cutting surface and the ability to use / hold 12 cutting tools. What used to take multiple setups and machine types can now be completed on the same piece of CNC routing equipment and without multiple setups. The spindle on our 3-Axis Routing machine has been engineered to be versatile enough to cut thick material as well as tap holes.
AST offers CNC Machining and Milling services for a wide range of industries and applications. We utilize the latest in CNC technology to make high precision machined parts. We have a full line of 3 and 4-Axis machining centers equipped with automation to handle both small and large volume runs. Components are produced with standard tolerances of +/-0.001.
