Kate Berger Registered Dietitian
Website
I'm Kate Berger and I'm a dietitian who helps those who desire to feel energized and fulfilled in their health. I help those who have every good intention and action to make great lifestyle choices but instead find they feel depleted, burned out, reluctant, or ashamed in their relationship with food.

They may be even be someone who readily attends to others' needs and often forget or deny their own. I work with individuals, families, caregivers, and health professionals who are ready and open to making a change in their lives to better their health, reach goals that have been put-off, and find a new way forward.
Services
Most people have a sense of what it means to eat well and define what is healthy for them. Research is showing that most people regain what they lose AND 2/3 of people gain EVEN MORE than that back. For example, a 2012 study showed that very low calorie diets cause lasting hormonal changes that make weight maintenance even harder.
You're reading this right now because you're looking for someone to give you help you haven't gotten yet! And I get it- This is a big moment and commitment for some who are searching for answers. And I can understand reservations to divulge details about eating habits and talk about a difficult subject like weight.
Meals are always a struggle and I resort to distraction, bribes, punishment and sometimes force food. I don't want my child to have a weight problem and my efforts to regulate what he eats and how much are not working. My child was born prematurely or has had problems eating early in their life and I have good reason to worry about their eating.
Kate is an incredible dietitian to work with. She helped guide me through some very difficult family food dynamics with the utmost compassion. She is also incredibly body positive. As someone who had a lot of self esteem issues growing up this is an incredibly important characteristic in a dietitian.
Currently I am not accepting new patients with insurance. Please still reach out if you would like to be put on the waitlist or would like contact information for another in-network provider. Although nutrition services are considered out-of-pocket costs, many insurance plans allow coverage for out-of-network providers.
