I’ve been to this nail salon a few times and I won’t be going back. At my most recent visit, I paid over $50 for a shellac manicure and the nail tech made me bleed. He acted like it wasn’t a big deal, didn’t apologize, or offer a discount. No massage either. Just not worth it in my opinion and I do not recommend.

I was excited to try this salon, but it was not close to hitting my expectations. The nail technician burned me multiple times with the electric filing tool. My fingers feel sore. I also have cuts on the outside of my cuticles from the nail file that was used. Using hand sanitizer is awful! My skin on my ring finger near the left side of my nail was cut so badly that when I left the salon, it was actually bleeding. My nails are also uneven lengths. I attempted to try and correct it in the process of filing, but was tired of the pain it was causing. For a regular dip powder manicure, it was on the

This was the first time I had ever gone to this nail place. I go around to many nail salons and try something new, whether it be long or short or new patterns. I went for a grey matte look with the tiny finger to be marble. Not only did my lady do a fantastic job at my nails this is my favourite set of nails that have ever been done. Did not wait long when I came to my appointment and felt very welcomed!!! Definitely go here if you want 5/5 stars. Love, love, love this place!!!!!!🙏

So the nails are absolutely amazing. The only issue I had is I told them I was paying partly in cash and the rest on my card due to the fact I don’t like carrying cash. Nails were a little over $87. I gave them 50 in cash but they charged it in full to my card and kept the 50. I’m not sure if they thought it was a tip or not. I was going to tip them anyway, but that is completely unacceptable. But as the friendly person I am who isn’t confrontational I let them keep it. So keep that in mind if you plan on doing the same.

Absolutely amazing!! I don’t regularly get my nails done but had a specific look I wanted for a music festival I have coming up. I showed them my inspiration and made a couple changes at my request. I’m in love with the finished product and will definitely be going back if I ever need my nails done again.

I am from Ohio and was needing my nails done so I went to Google to find a nail place that look good and have a good reviews and I found knockout nails. The inside of the salon is very chic, clean and they have a receptionist that greets you at the door. A gentleman did my nails and I asked him if he could do leopard nail art, because where I’m from in Ohio nail art is not big and they just don’t do it. My sister's nails for exactly like her picture, but what I received was far from it. Definitely not worth the $74 just to get some stickers applied.. Unfortunate :(

A+ Nail Salon! Definitely recommend this place if you want good quality nails and a staff that makes you feel right at home!! We came in at 10:45 when our appointment was at 11 and they got us in right away and helped us leave with amazing looking nails by 1. They take their time and value the work they do and i’ll definitely be back!

I gave this place 3 tries... Each time I showed a pic and I didn't get what I asked for I just said maybe they are not skilled enough. Last time, I made an appointment and I was ignored for two walk-ins. I was never acknowledged. I won't be back. I say they are unorganized and it's a chaotic environment.

I made a reservation online, and I arrived 15 minutes early. I figured I would walk in and pick out my color so I was ready for my appointment. I ended up waiting over an hour after my "appointment time." It appeared that no priority was given to appointments over walk ins. When I was moved to a chair to begin my appointment I was told I picked out a color that wasn't dipping powder. Mind you, I choose from the options provided to me. I was given approximately 10 seconds to pick out a new one. I wasn't asked what shape or length I wanted my nails. My nails chipped in a week

Found them on Yelp. I highly recommend! Very clean and organized. Joe did my mani/pedi and he was meticulous. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is the price. Rather expensive at least compared to MA. $68 for a basic mani/pedi. They also charge $2 or $3 for "supples" and I brought my own polish, so just thought that was kind of strange but other than price it was a good experience

Last Sunday my mom and I went to look at the new house we are building in West Des Moines. We were leaving the next morning for Florida. I looked on yelp for the best nail salons in the area and decided to stray away from my other favorites Andy's Nails or B Nails. I made an appointment for 9:30 am, arrived early and sat in my car. I walked in when a young man opened the door and turned the lights on. I said I had made an appointment for tips with dip and possibly a pedicure if they had time (he was the only one there). Went in today to get a gel nail fill with a spring inspired nail design I found on Pinterest. I normally never get a design on my nails but I was feeling creative. Made a appointment ahead of time just to make sure they had time. Lana I believe was her name did my nails and she did a really great job. She was very careful to take of my gel polish I had prior and shaped them nice.
It took her a hour and a half to do all of of it which in my opinion was quick. Definitely will be back again to do my nails at this salon. They are reasonably priced for the work they do. I will recommend them to all

I feel really bad because my nail tech was really sweet and personable. The people were accommodating for how busy it was. I ended up just getting a gel manicure instead of a full acrylic set. Every other gel I've gotten lasts at least a week and a half or two weeks and this photo is after three days. (The middle finger looks like that because there was a big crack I poked at) Really bummed out for how much I paid ($40) just to have it chip badly days later. And no I haven't been doing anything rigorous with my hands to cause this. Maybe I'll give them another try when I get acrylics

I was in town visiting my sister who recently moved to West Des Moines and needed to have my nails fixed. My sister suggested Knockout Nails after she had a good experience. I called ahead for a walk-in appointment and was able to get in right away around noon on a Saturday. I do recommend calling ahead, while I was there, they did start getting busy and had to turn a handful of people away. Awful place. Dirty, disorganized. Clearly their older reviews (from 3+ years ago) are keeping their stars high. But lately, it's just a bad option. My experiences (been there twice) have both been bad, rude staff who don't listen. Worst thing is that the manicure tools do not come out of a sterilized package. They just use and reuse. They tear paper towels in half (to save $$??) and then I'm left to rest my hands on the dirty plexiglass table. Nail dust everywhere.

I'm from NYC and I looked for several places in the area. I'm here visiting for my nephews graduations and I needed to find the right place considering I am VERY picky. After searching for an hr I found this place. Mind you I also had my Daughter (12) do her nails also. We were welcomed and they sat my daughter down and once I saw all the options I knew I made the right choice. The salon is very clean and the staff very friendly. A friend and I stopped in while out shopping in the area. I needed a shellac pedi and she needed her naked nails dipped. It was 3:45pm. They close at 6. I remember because the gentleman checking us in looked at the clock, then looked around, obviously trying to see how he could work us in. He told us to pick our colors.
