Not good. I had spicy Szechuan wontons. Not sure what the sauce was, but it should be a spicy peanut sauce. This was not that. I also had shrimp with walnuts, which were deep-fried and served on a bed of raw lettuce. Just horrible. This is the second time I've tried this restaurant, after suffering through a lunch. Never again.

Other than the wait time of over an hour, everything was outstanding. Food was freshly prepared, hot and exceptional. Wait time is indicative of great food and service. So busy during coronavirus. I'm in Essex Junction and nothing nearby comes close to the quality of the Chinese food. I'd rather drive 2 hrs round trip than eat the pedestrian fare nearby.

The terracki sticks here are amazing, they will take you to a magical place. The meat falls apart, off the stick, and has a sweet side. Used to order just one side of sticks, now we order 4 everytime. The beef and broccoli is perfect, and everything here is cooked with a little more love, then anywhere else we have ordered. I used to think all chinese take outs were about the same, definitely not true with this place.

Delicious. Their home style bean curd is fantastic. Spicy wontons are great too. Scallion pancakes not my favorite style but even they were great. -- UPDATE !! -- I've been eating here regularly since, and if I could increase my ranking to six stars, I would. Delicious. I love the Ma Po Tofu (I get that now instead of the home style bean curd; the tofu is soft/fresh and not deep fried, and i like the vegetables and sauce better). I tried their "Roti Canai" and couldn't help but notice that it seems to be the exact same thing as the scallion pancakes, just with different dipping sauce. But I'm not

Good didn't even remotely taste like what is should have. Noodles so over cooled they were most and couldn't be eaten with a fork or chop sticks. The amount of pepper was rediculous. This is not a place to get tasty food. It is a rip off that doesn't give you satisfaction or the want for a full tummy. Don't eat here.

Yum! They switched management this year (2017) and are totally different now. Very delicious food, vegetable noodles (vegetable mei fun) is my favourite go-to. Don't be fooled by the humble appearance - clean, tidy environment inside, comfortable and relaxing. I return to this place a lot because of the price, quality and attention to customers. Their dishes are so generous with ingredients, more so than any other restaurant (Asian or not) in town.

We were in Middlebury for business and after we found out that our first choice for lunch was only open for dinner we decided on this place. It was friendly and the young 4 year old son of the owner was very attentive and showed us all his cars and delighted us throughout the meal. he really made us laugh. The food was good and well prepared but was just ordinary. Nothing was special. But also nothing to complain about either. It seemed to be doing a good take out business as well as eat in. The process are reasonable and the portions are good. I wish them well.

My friends and I crave Asian food, so this is a great change of scenery from the dining halls at Middlebury College (go Panthers!). The restaurant workers are all Mandarin speakers who probably feel out of place in homogeneously white Vermont, but they make a living, and I'm glad they're there adding just a bit more diversity to the state.
There are tables so you can dine-in, though from what I've seen, people typically order to-go and probably go eat at home with their families. (Must be nice.)

Love this place. HUGE portions and I normally will eat half for dinner and half for lunch the next day. Sweet and sour chicken is great as well as basil chicken and basil tofu. For the vegetarians out there try the general tso tofu. Huge pieces of crispy tofu cooked perfectly and a great sauce over rice. My vegetarian boyfriend loves it and raves that it's the best Chinese in Vermont (for that meal).

So glad I finally got to try this place. Rice has restored my faith in local Chinese cuisine. My immediate reaction was how clean this place is. Next thing was a welcoming and friendly woman who took my order. She offered hot tea while I waited for my take out order which was perfect for this blustery first day of October.
The food was not disappointing. These days, I expect frozen products at places like this. This is not one of those places. Eggrolls, rangoons and scallion pancake appeared house made and all were fresh tasting and made with perfect blends of the usual ingredients. Seasoned
