Really like the feel and trendy rustic ambience of Barkeaters. Food was good. Salmon, corn chowder and dill carrots, great. Cioppino and lava cake okay. Everything was well priced and the staff was quick, friendly, and on top of all the takeouts and tables. Nice perk during the chaos of these times. A lot of regulars were coming and going and chatting with staff, which I found testament to their good food and service. Appreciate and looking forward to trying their multiple veggie options.

Great restaurant in Shelburne. The atmosphere is relaxed and decor is like rustic ski lodge / old england Inn. The menu has great options from farm to table fine dining to small plates & appetizers, as well regular pub fare of burgers and sandwiches. My wife loved the seared yellowfin tuna and I had the duck specials which was delicious! Wednesday is burger night and well worth a visit.

Ive only had the burger but both times it was fantastic. Our waitor was awesome too, he made ordering easy and had us laughing with his tableside banter. Took his beer recommendation and was glad I did, very good! Next time I'll get his name and update this review! No restaurants in this area have quality food and good service so I urge you to visit.

Love eating here. Lunch is awesome, always. My all time favorite is their beet salad. Love the drinks available at lunch and in the summer lunch on the patio is the best. Dinner is great here too. Entrees, dinner and drink specials are always done well. Great prices for excellent food. I always walk out happy!

One of the nicest dining experiences I've recently had. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming. The difficulty was making a choice! Everyone in our party of five had something different and each raved about his/her meal. The ambiance is charming and the service was impeccable and friendly.

Won’t be eating at Barkeaters in Shelburne again. There was a dead beetle in my crab cake 🤮 what was even more appalling was that my fellow diners, equally unable to finish their meals, were charged. Staff kept trying to get me to order something else..without beetles presumably. Disgusting kitchen and service.

This place was wonderful! We had a big party of 9 and with 2 kids. The staff was more than accommodating and pleasant.
We ended up going to this place while in town for my wedding because of their gluten-free options and substitutions.
The swordfish I ordered was phenomenal! It wasn't over cooked to the point where its like chewing gum. The Seafood Risotto was very well made. It was nice and fluffy. The lobster wasn't rubbery.
The atmosphere is very calm and softly lit. The have an outdoor eating area as well. It's a nice little rustic place.
