We are a general family practice providing cosmetic, preventive, and restorative dental care to patients of all ages. We offer a full range of dental services to meet the needs of you and your family. Our specialty is making our patients smile. Our office stays up-to-date with all OSHA, CDC, and ADA infection control procedures, and we work hard to make sure our patients feel at ease during treatments and confident in the care they're receiving.
Dr. Clancy joined Newburyport Dental Associates in 2002. After completing her undergraduate degree at Assumption College in biology and chemistry, Dr. Clancy received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts Dr. Clancy was a member of the Clinical Honors Program.
Our practice is focused on prevention and health. We believe that excellence in dentistry begins with a detailed evaluation of our patient. At your first visit to our practice you will have a Comprehensive Oral Evaluation by Dr. Hirsch, Dr. Clancy, or Dr. Doe. This is the first step in determining your individual and personal dental needs.
Generations of children have enjoyed their first dental visit at Newburyport Dental Associates. We go to great lengths to make you and your child comfortable at their first visit. We believe that positive and encouraging dental visits at a young age are important to a future with healthy teeth. At your child's first visit he or she will see a hygienist for a dental prophylaxis ("cleaning") and an examination from the dentist.

I found people here to be very friendly and helpful at my visit. I am very disappointed with policies, called on 1/27/2022 informing you that I was in extreme pain with a broken tooth. Earliest appointment was 1/31/2022. came for my app. x-rays taken w/exam given. a phone number and name of several dentists to call, because they do not do the work there. In my opinion you should tell a patient that they will. not be receiving the relief they need at your facility. Again this is not directed at people I interacted with here.

First experience I met with a young male doctor who had a bizarre attitude right of the bat. Providing no information and seemingly talking down to me like I must take whatever I get and my questions aren't valid. He then declared that this isn't working, and shut down the apt with a temp still in my mouth. The owner of the practice is on vacation, so I have no recourse. This could happen to you here so beware of that guy. For all I know this practice could do good work, if they fired that guy, but I'll never go back to find out.
