My wife and I went here last week with some friends. We sat out on the deck, it was a beautiful night and they had an acoustic guitar group playing - very nice atmosphere.
We shared an apps, the chickpea hummus plate w/ yougurt. It was VG.
I got the Maine lobster special, awesome dinner and my wife enjoyed another special.
I would recommend this place for a great night out with friends or just a couple. Desserts was also fabulous, the cheesecake and creme brulee a must.

I give 5 stars for food and service! Management loses 3 stars though. I felt talked down to and degraded for using a groupon for the Hunt Room and being told upon check in that I could sit outside. Stupid me didn't know that it was 2 different restaurants! But the "manager" of the sunset grill made it her mission that I did!!

The Sunset Grille at The Desmond Hotel is awesome! Dinner was FANTASTIC! We had several apps (gazpacho, tuna, bruchetta) and two of us had the grouper - outstanding! My husband had the filet and crab cake and didn't leave a bite. He said he could cut the filet with a fork! Our server was pleasant and very competent and listening to the Sounds of Sinatra was the cherry on top.
