Anita studied Master of Business Communications Management at University of North Texas and has a background in production talent booking, commercial, television/film, prosthetics, and hair design.

I cannot recommend Mayra enough! I did both my trial run with her and grabbed her for the wedding day, and she came extra early to do makeup for my bridesmaids and mom. Everything looked beautiful, and she was a joy to chat with. Made the day so much more comfortable. I definitely recommend a trial run with these talented makeup stylists!

My daughter used Elan Makeup Studio for her Senior portraits. They did a fantastic job with both her hair and her makeup!!! (and my daughter is super picky about her makeup!) The pictures turned out AWESOME! We are returning to get the same stylist (Mayra) to help with hair and makeup for Senior prom in a couple months. I highly recommend this studio and Mayra! Also, the customer service has been wonderful! I was a little hesitant to just leave an email asking several questions.... but the owner, Anita, was always very quick to respond and worked very hard to accommodate every request that I made

We are using Anita/Elan Makeup Studio for my daughter’s wedding in October and had a great trial run experience. Her knowledge of the trends and business is great. I liked her so much I booked a makeup lesson for myself and it was amazing! She is helpful to all ages. I learned so much and highly recommend Anita.

Anita and the whole Elan Studio team are fantastic. Hiring them for hair and make-up services for my October 13th wedding was a great decision. From my trial run two weeks before though getting ready on the Big Day they were professional, calm, and exceeded my expectations. Anita has the perfect demeanor for being around a antsy bride. Her calming presence certainly kept me sane. Also, they stuck to their promised timing - arrived when they said would and finished all services within the promised timeframe. I can't recommend this place enough!

If your looking to learn a few makeup skills and learn to change your makeup with your aging face, this is the place. Aside from being a professional makeup studio for print, media, and weddings, this studio will teach you a new fresh beautiful everyday look. My friend and I had a great time and our professional took her time with us both equally as we were at different skills with our makeup. Bring your own makeup and learn to use it in new ways. If you prefer, the studio has makeup available and it is very reasonable. I even had my foundation custom mixed for a very good price.

Anita did such a fabulous job with my wedding! I am a very picky bride that loves makeup. Anita took her time learning how I like my makeup done and changing anything I wanted changed. My lashes were out of this world gorgeous!!
She also did an unbelievable job on my hair! I have very long thick hair, and Anita whipped all this hair into a perfect little updo full of texture and curls. My husband is still raving about how much he liked my hair, and my wedding pictures are proof of Anita's amazing work!

I actually made a last minute switch from another makeup company to Elan for my wedding and am so happy I did! Anita listened to all my concerns and worked with me to create the natural look that I wanted for my wedding day. The straightforward pricing structure and package options made it easy to determine what fit my budget, without feeling like I was getting nickel & dimed for a la carte items. Anita and her team arrived on time, were friendly and energetic, and stayed right on schedule, even when my mother-in-law decided last minute to have her hair done! If you are looking for the best makeup artist and hairstylist for your wedding, look no further because you have found her. Anita Brown is the owner of Elan Makeup Studio and the best in town. She offers many different packages as well as al a carte services all at a reasonable rate. She was so accommodating and met every need of my daughter and her 12 bridesmaids, including myself and her new mother-in-law. Anita made this part of the planning and the actual wedding day stress free. It was so nice not having to worry whether everyone’s makeup and hair would hold up in the July heat but she recommended
