We were lucky enough to stumble on this food truck in Discovery Bay today. I ordered a bit off menu by asking if they could make a bowl and they said sure, no problem. Everything tasted amazing and super fresh. I had chicken with rice, beans, cilantro. The pickled onions were so good. My husband had the super burrito with pastor and it was super tasty as well. They were super friendly and a fast. Would most definitely recommend!

Tried them for the first time at an event - not impressed. Started off could only make taco's. Because they had no cheese, sour cream or salsa. Argued with customers and over an hour late to event. Waited long times for food.
Gave them a second chance at another event. Same story as the first event. Ran out of food, was over an hour and half late to event. People waited for over an hour for their food. Bill totals could not be done properly. I as the paying customer attempted to correct their math several times in their favor and took 3 times of me saying your under charging me,

Very disappointed in the service and food.
Many guests complained that the "taco guy" was refusing to make quesadillas that they ordered. Which I paid extra for that service.
Also the amount of food was on the short end.
He also began cooking for another event at my house, and then told the guests he was out of food. So that confused them, why is he cooking meat and telling them there's no more?
Lastly some items that were in the contract were not provided as promised.

First time trying Villas tacos and they were delicious! Had one of each and they were all yum dot com. (grilled pork and pineapple one may have been my fave) The salsa were also delicious if you like spicy, but my husband and I are spicy babies and couldn't handle them, but they were flavorful. :) Friendly staff as sell, will definitely be visiting them again!

We've seen the Villas Tacos truck in our neighborhood since we moved a few months ago, and finally had the opportunity to stop and get lunch from them for my husband and I, and we were absolutely blown out of the water with how delicious their tacos are. The meat is PERFECTLY marinated (we tried the Carne Asada and the Al Pastor) and the toppings were just the right amount (onion, cilantro, salsa, lime and radish on the side). We will be making weekly taco trips!!! I wish I had a picture but they were gone too quickly!!

These guys make awesome street tacos. We had chicken, pastor and asada. All of them were really good. They have a mild and hot sauce to choose from. The mild was pretty spicy for my family. We tried some spicy sauce on the side. It's made with habaneros and it's pretty darn spicy. Tacos are $2.50 each.

Sorry let me say that again VILLAS FREAKIN TACOS. You may be thinking "really they're that good". The answer is yes, yes, and also yes. Quite literally the best taco I've had in years YEARS. Go there now, put down your phone and find them now I mean it, why are you still sitting there GOOOOOO. I got a carne asada taco but it really doesn't matter what you get, a napkin would probably taste

At first everything was great. I spoke to Sergio and he said he could fit me in and his price was reasonable. He asked me to meet him at an event that he was working to sign the contract and pay the deposit that was Friday 5/3.
My husband and I went to meet him and he said he forgot my contract at home and we could meet sometime during the week to sign it. Villas Tacos catered our house warming party this weekend. They arrived promptly, food was ready on point at the time we requested and the tacos were so flavorful!!!! They provided unlimited tacos for my guests and quesadillas for my vegetarian guests. The remaining food was packaged and left when they completed their service.
The weather was crappy, with intermittent rain and hail. Given such, they set up a tent in our driveway with side panels; completely enclosing the food and service area. My guests were able to grab their tacos without ever getting wet.

So found them off of FB marketplace and when I yelped them they only had one review but I thought I would give them a chance.
I paid $10.00 per person and a travel fee plus taxes which ended up to be $625.00. This included two meats and sides for 50 people for three hours. They ran out of tortillas which was very surprising because they only severed one tortilla per taco and not the original two. We didn't get rice and beans and advertised on business cards. Didn't get my money's worth and will not be recommending them or booking them for other parties.
