During this time, if you would like to continue your sessions remotely, please make arrangements with your therapist. The MPSI Psychotherapy Center was founded in 2009 by a group of mental health clinicians and community leaders with a vision to make psychoanalytic psychotherapy more accessible and affordable for underserved populations.
Conveniently located between downtown and uptown Minneapolis, the Center is accessible by car and public transportation. The MPSI Psychotherapy Center offers an alternative to other community psychological services because of its freedom from the constraints of insurance requirements and its commitment to providing intensive services that bring long-term results.

Services
The therapists at the MPSI Psychotherapy Center are taking part in a one- or two-year clinical fellowship. Each clinical fellow is at least a masters-level mental health practitioner working toward licensure or a mid-career licensed psychotherapist deepening their clinical skills. All clinical fellows receive intensive supervision, training, and consultation to support the therapy that they provide.
To make an appointment, call us at (612) 824-3800 and leave a message in the general voicemail box. Please include your name, phone number, and brief description of why you're calling. Also, let us know if it's okay for us to leave a message on your voicemail when we return your call. An intake coordinator will get back to you within 1-2 business days, if not sooner.
Program Goals: The MPSI Psychotherapy Center Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship, Graduate Social Work Internship, and Post-Graduate Clinical Fellowship Program is designed for students who possess a strong desire to develop their clinical skills by learning to apply psychoanalytic theory and technique to their work with clients.
