My name is Allyson Barth, and I am the owner and photographer of Crescent Moon Photography. I have had a passion for the art of photography since I was around the age of nine years old. I was amazed at how through the lens of a camera, I could capture a moment, freeze it in time, and then look at that moment over and over again.
While most cell phones offer a quick way to capture a funny moment in life, for these big important milestones, you should leave the photography up to a professional. It is an investment you will not regret. After all, the small window in which the opportunity for newborn photography is at its best is one you will never get back once it has gone by.
Nothing is sweeter or more innocent than a newborn baby, and I want to capture that beautiful sleepy newborn phase in my newborn photography sessions. Newborn photography is special because babies change so fast but I can freeze time in the portraits of your new addition. I recommend scheduling your newborn photography session for when your new baby is between 5 and 14 days old.
The beautiful time of pregnancy is fleeting and meaningful. For 9 months, your baby is a physical part of you, going everywhere you go. You feel the kicks, and count the days until you can hold your baby in your arms. As a mother myself, I know how special this time is as you prepare to welcome your new baby into your family.

Allyson at crescent moon photography is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is incredibly talented and her passion for photography radiates through her work. I took my daughter for a newborn photo session at her studio and Allyson had every prop, swaddle, and outfit you could think of in just about any color. I was initially introduced to Allyson’s work by Babies and Bellies 3D ultrasound. I was very happy to be able to work with one photographer for my maternity shoot and my daughter’s newborn photos. I appreciated Allyson taking our maternity photos at the Botanical Gardens at RWP Zoo. The scenery complimented our nursery theme beautifully…even in the rain! She had a great variety of dresses and poses. The photos came out beautiful and were a great touch at my baby shower. I can’t wait to display them in our home next.

Crescent Moon Photography caught my eye with the beautiful vintage style pictures for newborns on their Facebook page. I reached out and Allyson was very responsive with getting me the information, answering… any questions that I had and getting to know me and my style. My husband and I were eager to have newborn photos taken of our sweet girl, and Allyson did a phenomenal job capturing such sweet moments for us! Allyson was amazing with our Newborn Photo Shoot.The studio is very clean with sanitizing stations mounted on the was as well as disposable changing table protectors and prop sterilizers. We choose the Monthly package where we go back every month until baby turns one. So far we have been 3 times Nb, one month and two months sessions. Every session was just as good as the one before! It is so nice to photograph them as they grow each month, so much happens in one year. We show her our pintrest inspiration and she makes it come to life. I recommend her 100%. My wife and I brought our 1 year old for a smash cake session (followed by bathtub and formal pics) with Allyson. She was fantastic; very patient with our son and full of great ideas for the props. She was very easy to work with over email and phone. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for creative photoshoots with their little ones.

My husband and I did a maternity shoot with Allyson and absolutely LOVE the photos! I was a little skeptical on doing a maternity shoot, but Allyson really assured me that it’s something we should do and I’m really glad we did! Allyson did a fantastic job with our daughter's newborn photos! She incorporated our daughter's nursery theme into our session. I also did not have to worry about finding outfits or props; she had it all. Allyson was patient with our daughter, who was a little fussy that day, and us. She spent almost six hours with us to capture this milestone. Throughout our session, we saw the passion and dedication Allyson has for her work and clients.

Allyson made me feel beautiful, confident and comfortable during my maternity photo shoot!! She was extremely easy to communicate with to book the session, during and afterwards! Her studio is extremely clean, especially during these covid-19 times. It is comfortable and cozy, she had a spot for my husband to sit while she took photos of just me.
