I'm a mama to three little wild things, a wife to my best friend, and a photographer specializing in Weddings for adventurous hearts! My ideal day would start with a nicely brewed cup of local coffee, a full day of exploring the outdoors, finished with a crisp glass of white wine - sipping while watching the sun set (and scrolling instagram planning future trips to all the National Parks)!

Melody was a literal dream to work with for our wedding. She was super professional and made us both feel so comfortable. Beyond that, she was extremely responsive, and even super accommodating when we had to change our venue from upstate NY to Long Island. She was clear when setting our expectations, and she far exceeded them with her follow-through! Our photos were absolutely beautiful! I would love to work with Mel again in the future, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

If you're even questioning whether you should do an engagement photo shoot - do it! And hire Melody! My fiancé and I have never had professional photos done before, and were a bit nervous about the process, but Melody made us feel so comfortable and we had a blast! Her work is absolutely stunning and she is such a pleasure to work with. We could not be happier or more excited to have her capture our wedding day next year!

I immediately fell in love with Melody’s work when I found her on Instagram and was over the moon when she replied that she had the perfect date available for our Acadia Elopement. My husband is the typical guy that isn’t comfortable in front of the camera and never likes the way he looks in photos, but Melody worked her magic and we both look absolutely amazing in every shot!
This woman also ran a mile in the rain to get our marriage license from our car! A total life saver.
After our 4 hour session, it felt weird to say bye to Melody. She felt like a close friend.

I got my engagement photos done by Melody and she will be doing my wedding as well. Melody is an amazingly talented photographer. It didn’t feel just like getting pictures done, she made it an entire experience! We were able to be outside in nature, walking around a location she knew of that was secluded and beautiful! She made us both very comfortable around the camera with prompts. She allows you to be creative with your photos as well and we had a lovely picnic at sunset to finish up the shoot. We loved working with Melody for our engagement photo session! Melody is the most amazing photographer out there, and we searched high and low to find one. I am so grateful we found her. There is so much that goes into wedding planning and the most important thing to my husband and I was our photos. These will last a lifetime and will be shared with our future kids and grandkids someday. Melody is the real deal, she has passion for her work and does it so effortlessly, it is quite remarkable. Melody was an absolute delight to work with on our wedding day. From start to finish, Melody was super clear about the process andhelped us feel comfortable and at ease immediately. I don't consider myself photogenic, and sometimes I lack confidence in what I should do in photos, and Melody just made everything feel natural and stress free. After our wedding, Melody gave us some great previews of what was to come, and our album of photos was ready right on time. We are so, so happy with our photos! Melody captured some beautiful candid moments and has a real eye for framing and composition.
