Back by popular demand we are thrilled to be starting new, in studio, classes of Country Line Dancing!. It's not too difficult to tell if a child likes to dance. You'll see them wiggling and swaying to TV theme songs as toddlers. They'll tap their toes to pop songs on TV - or go into full-out routines in the living room.

Whether you are a competitive or recreational dancer, we offer a complete variety of dance classes for all ages including Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Leaps and Turns, and Lyrical. Elegant Dance Studio provides instruction from only the most professional, qualified and positive teachers. We take great pride in the quality of our instruction given to each student, the development of our competitive dance team and our pristine facility.
Jackie's passion for dance didn't end when her girls grew up and went college. Jackie desire to mentor and encourage young dances be confident and have high self-esteem. You won't find a better mentor and cheer leader! Jackie finds it exciting to be able to help understand the value of discipline, commitment and work ethic.
These classes are COMBO classes, meaning that they include both ballet AND tap. Dancers will participate in both styles every week and will be required to wear both style of shoes. Clean pair of sneakers only worn to dance, very important note, these sneakers must be worn in studio only, never outside.

I can not say enough about Elegant and their team!!! As a retired comp dancer I had high expectations and Ms Jackie and Elegant dance blew us away! The environment is everything I ever wanted fit my little dancers. They feel supported and welcome. The studio is so clean and taking every precaution and every teacher is phenomenal!!!! Check them out for yourself with a free class! I promise you will not regret it!!!

I signed up my then two and a half year old in September. She had balancing and walking difficulties and had only just started to walk. She goes to a school for physical therapy, but I thought putting her in ballet would help push her along. Not only does she absolutely love it and ask to go back every day, but it improved her stability and coordination so much she will be staying at this studio for as long as she wants too. I would recommend Elegant Dance Studio to anyone. You can also watch your child’s dance class live during practice, so witnessing my daughters improvement each week is remarkable

I cannot say enough good things about Elegant Dance Studio. We are new to Long Island and I was looking for a place where my daughters could foster their love for dance. I am so happy I found this place! The staff are so kind and caring. It is a fun atmosphere and my daughters love their teachers. They have learned so much. The studio is very clean and they offer a great variety of dance classes. I definitely recommend Elegant Dance Studio!

This is the first year for my daughters at Elegant and we couldn’t be happier! The girls love learning new moves and meeting new people. The instructors are amazing and friendly, and Miss Jackie is the best! Everything is clean and organized. If you’re looking for an amazing experience, come here! You won’t be disappointed!

Elegant dance studio has provided an amazing experience for my daughter. She started at the age of 3 as a hobby, is now 5 doing competition and has learned discipline, teamwork, and most importantly how to let loose and have fun. I would recommend this school to all families because they have demonstrated professionalism and true caring for the children. Great staff and tremendous value!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this studio. I wish I could give them 10 stars. We started at this studio within this last year and I am beyond thrilled that we did. My daughter tells me she is so happy here and her skills have excelled tremendously as well. The owner and director are both friendly, loving, caring and professional. They are always a text or phone call away - always available for questions or concerns and are always flexible and compassionate. I also love the flexibility of the studio in general. My daughter has been a student at EDS since she was 2.5yo. The staff is so patient and welcoming, especially with the little ones. They really bring out the family dynamic to make things fun and competitive for the kids. We moved pretty far away, but I can’t see my family joining any other dance studio. We just love them! My little one on the way will be a future EDS student when the time comes, that’s for sure!

This beautiful dance studio stands out as an oasis in our town! The studio is bright and clean. The kids love to dance there and be a part of everything the school does. Of course they have amazing dance classes, but they also march in parades, have holiday activities and help the local community with fundraisers. Everyone who works there is so welcoming and truly loves what they do. We LOVE Elegant Dance Studio and it will be our home for years to come!
