Chorus Line Dance Studio has been in business since 1982 and currently operates 2 beautiful studios in Smithtown and Saint James.
We offer classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, theater, and kickline as well as combination classes for 3 - 6 year olds. Our newest program - "Tiny Tots", welcomes all 2 year olds into the wonderful world of dance with fully certified instructors. Our end-of-year recitals are not recitals at all, but are usually referred to as our end-of-year "productions".

Services
Roseann Cousin was the Executive Director and Owner of Chorus Line Dance Studios for 37 years. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her philosophy was always to provide a positive approach to dance instruction for her students using praise, encouragement and love as the greatest teaching tools.
Due to a new transition for the 2021-22 dance year, you will see that there will be no Elite Tap & Elite Ballet companies this year. These companies were created last year to provide smaller class sizes due to the pandemic. Please find your name on the lists below. The list in which you find your name will be your company placement for the 2021-22 season.

This place is too expensive and too populated. My daughter went there and did not like it at all. The parking lot is small but I get it they don't have much room. My daughter felt judged there, she would do a leap and the other girls would look at her weirdly and stare at her. My daughter then went somewhere else and loved it! The recital is way too long and the prep and nonsense for the recital is ridiculous they expect me to pull my daughter out of school so I could bring her to the dress rehearsal. They are way too expensive and I have to work extra hours to pay for one dance class! As

3 children have and still are going through this amazing studio. My older two were at another studio nearby but I didn't feel the level of instruction was challenging enough and my girls complained.
What a joy that I listened to my neighbors advise -- CHORUS LINE , CHORUS LINE!!!! They are so very happy. And the recitals???? That word does injustice to what these 3 studios do --- they do broadway!! Unbelievable

Left early from work to catch part of my daughters ballet class. She has been going to the Chorus Line studio in Smithtown for years, but the ballet class at this location sit the schedule.
The parking area for this location is smaller than the Smithtown location and on days where they have observation performance I can see it become very chaotic very quick. This was a regular lesson night and I was lucky enough to get the last open spot.
