Dr. Bondavalli is bilingual, speaking fluently to her patients in both English and Spanish. Paid $130 first visit to burn wart off hand, overpriced but i was fine. I was told no other payment needed for follow up. After treatment i was told i owed another $130?!?! Since they have my card on file it was basically check mate. These people are cons! Now reading the other reviews it seems this is their practice. Would not recommend..

I had an appointment with Dr. Barba but after more than 45 minutes waiting for nothing, I asked when she would be coming and was answered soon … until I left without having seen anyone .
Very disrespectful from this practice to think that their patients’ time is not worth anything. I called them to explain that I don’t have the luxury of time to lose close to an hour in a waiting room while I have an appointment early in the morning … the assistant told me that he would call me back after he speaks with her …. It was a month ago and I have not heard anything from them . Very disappointing

DO NOT GET TRETINOIN from Dr. Barba!
She told me due to age (early 30’s) insurance WOULD NOT COVER—only for teenagers with acne so the office makes you buy it for $90. I got a higher real prescription through NUREX, used my insurance— paid $20. Don't fund the doctors lifestyle. Horrible that they lie this way to make money!

Irene is my doctor and she is always trying to make you save money and have a very soft hand when it comes to needles! Robert and Janet are also fantastic and make the experience very enjoyable!

I highly recommend this clinic, Dr. Irene Cuesta is super friendly, professional, she takes her time with the patient and is very detailed. My son and I left very happy. Oh, and did I mentioned that the waiting time was phenomenal. My appointment was at 9am and we were out by 9:45am, who provides this type of service now a day? Barba Dermatology does. We actually thought we had to miss half of our day at the doctors. The staff are incredibly great, super friendly and super attentive. We highly recommend this clinic. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, because they deserve it.

Going to the dermatologist isn't generally my idea of a fun day (those of you who have experienced the dreaded "freeze gun" might concur) but in South Florida it's a necessity. I am so happy to have found the Barba Dermatology group and Dr Rivas in particular. My previous experience with another dermatologist was a nightmare, not from a medical perspective but some shenanigans around over billing me. Dealing with the staff at Barba has been a delight. Eight years later and still a fan of Irene Cuesta and Barba Dermatology! I've been twice in the last six months and felt compelled to write an update to share my more recent experiences that have made coming here an even more pleasant experience. For starters, I now park in the nearby Publix lot and walk over to the building. This is SO much more convenient than going through the crazy parking garage under the building and having to deal with valet. I've never had an issue with my car being towed or ticketed at Publix (Publix... where parking is a pleasure... should be their new slogan

The billing department for this dermatology office is horrific. I was reviewing my credit card transactions and there was charge from Barba Dermatology Clinic with a date of 1/23/2020. I thought, I haven't been to the clinic in sometime, what am I being charge for? this couldn't be right. After review of my records I had gone to the clinic in July 2019. I never received a bill and was NEVER notified that I had a unpaid balance. Barba Dermatology took it upon themselves to charge my credit card six months after services had been rendered. I came here because I had a rash on my skin. One of the doctors prescribed a cream to use on it. I put the cream on my rash everyday and nothing was happening. I googled the cream and it was literally a cream that cures some bizarre disease, something I clearly didn't have nor had the symptoms for it.
So I went back again this time to see another doctor (the actual dr. Barba) who said the cream I was prescribed was not going to cure what I had.

The location is kind of hard to find, but once you find it it's not hard. It's on the eleventh floor of a nice hiking and the inside is very clean and nice but as soon as you walk in the receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. She asked for my insurance card which is fine but she had a bad attitude and my insurance card was on my phone in a picture and she said to email it to them so I asked her to write down the offices email so I send it to the right person and she says "ay dios mio" (means oh my God in Spanish) while sighing like it was so hard to simply write an email

Love this dermatology office! My doctor created an excellent regimen for my face that has dramatically improved my complexion.
During my last appointment, I was treated for some sunspots with the IPL laser. Arianny was very attentive to my skin both during and after the procedure and recommended skin products best suited for my dry skin. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

They are more interested by your money than concerned by your health..
Whenever you go into their practice, you have to fill 5 pages of personal informations including your SS number, credit card number...
They take a copy of your insurance card and ID but require you to sign all the 5 document pages.
They oblige you to provide a credit card number even if you have an insurance.
It is more a business than a real doctor's practice.
The person at the reception was not friendly at all and they cancelled my appointment because i did not want to put my credit

My experience at Barba Dermatology has always been positive. I went in for acne and I can already see a huge change in just a few Days! So convient as well to be able to get all the product right there directly without having to go to a pharmacy. I will definitely keep coming back and recommend to anyone who's in need of good dermatologist in Miami.

When I first started seeing Anita Barba about a year ago I swore by Estée Lauder everything, even though my face looked horrible. I came to realize I was only hiding the imperfections, but like everyone else, I thought if it was more expensive and from a counter it must be the best...WRONG!!!Anita put me on a strict regimen of clean simple products that I had never heard of before and educated me on what exactly was in my famed Estée Lauder line (even my neutrogena face wash had harsh chemicals). Although I haven't visited, I'm giving this place 2 stars solely based on the fact that, I must say I was very pleased w/ how fast(from the moment of my inquiry) the Doctor replied(even after hours) to advise me that one of his staff members would be in contact w/ me to book an appointment. I been looking for a dermatologist for a very long time. When I turned 29 my skin face decided that since I had not hit a nasty pimple puberty stage it was gonna start at that age! So here I was 29, two kids and my face just decides to break out with horrible acne! I went from dermatologist to dermatologist and no one really ever asked me the right questions, they just saw me and said ok buy muy products. That's it! So I went home with products worth almost $200-$300 and nothing ever worked. Went and bought proactive and it's not for my skin either, cause that didn't work.

Classic bait and switch. I made an appointment with Dr Alicia Barba's, since her name is on the directory for my policy. I called and made the appointment two weeks ago and gave them my insurance information. I showed up today and the front desk person told me I wasn't going to be seeing Dr Barba and that I would be seeing her associate instead.
