At Lamoreaux Landing, we collaborate with our land to create wines that go beyond the expected. By using only sustainable winegrowing practices, we not only protect the health of our employees, consumers, and neighbors, but also ensure our continued ability to grow and deliver the best possible wines for generations to come.
Services
For three generations, our family has been growing grapes on the fertile soils along the east side of Seneca Lake. Today we have over 119 acres of planted vineyards separated into more than 20 different vineyard blocks, planted predominantly on Honeoye Silt Loam and Lansing Gravely Loam soils. These holdings are managed using only sustainable winegrowing practices, to yield the finest lots of expressive and dynamic cool-climate varietals.
Join us for a guided tasting of our estate-grown wine while overlooking Seneca Lake. All tastings start with a vintner-selected welcome pour; then, guests can choose four additional wines to sample. Reservations can be made by calling the winery in advance at 607.582.6011. We ask that you review the new tasting room guidelines below before making your reservation so we can ensure everyone has the best experience.
Join automatically with any 12 bottle purchase in our tasting room or online. Maintaining your membership is easy- purchase 12 bottles within one year of enrollment to renew your membership. Your purchase does not need to be made all at once! Details on exclusive invitations to tours & events will be released upon wineries ability to comfortably and safely host them(pending availability and scheduled in advance).
Your dog is more than a pet. Pups are beloved family members and it's natural to want to include them in our favorite activities. Here is a curated selection of the most picturesque award-winning wineries set within magnificent landscapes that will take your breath away. Thank you Mike at the Harbor Inn for recommending Lamoureux Winery. Polly was exceptional. We learned so much of the different wine pairing and wine selections. The chocolates were great when tasting the red wines. Taking a case home. We will return! Steve & Denise 🍷

My wife and I visited a few days ago, arriving around 11am, at which point there were two other couples (each drinking a glass) and one group of four who were having a tasting. As we encountered at one other place during our trip, but have neve encountered in any other wine region, we were told we could not do tastings because we didn't have a tasting reservation - we could only order by the glass/bottle. I really don't get this. There were two employees working and only four tables to attend to and nobody else showed up while we were there. Giving 4 stars because the wines we each had

Excellent from start to finish! We stepped into a well-run, well-appointed and attractive tasting room and immediately recognized slight aromas of actively fermenting wine happening somewhere in the building. We tried both the semi-dry and dry rieslings, the pinot noir, merlot and the 76 West blend (a favorite) and they all impressed. Clean and elegant, each was an excellent representation of variety and the 76 West (their Bordeaux style blend) is something their winemaker should be especially proud of. The tasting room staff of Michael, Polly and Jenna were knowledgeable, passionate about wines

Great wine, great staff, one of the most beautiful views on the lakes. Dry reds and dry whites are fabulous. I've heard the less dry wines are good also but I can't really speak so personally.

We stopped in early and there was only one other couple there. A gentleman named Ford, like the car not the Chevy, helped us and he was great. He provided us with the information we needed for the wines we went on to purchase. The atmosphere was relaxed with the reservation system versus first come, first serve. It was our second time visiting this winery and there will be a third.

What a lovely winery! We stopped by here for a tasting today and had a wonderful experience. Our server Tyler was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered answers to all our questions about the wines. The cheese plate was so yum and the wines were very good! The semi dry Riesling was on point!! Most def a place we will return to upon our next Finger Lakes visit !

We had a beautiful tasting outside here. This winery is doing a great job with covid protocols. All tastings are currently outside. The wine host had us set our glasses on the barrel at the end of the table for filling and tables were well spaced.
For $15 we received 4 samples of our choice, plus a welcome semi dry Riesling. Riesling is definitely the star grape varietal here in my opinion. We tried the Gruner Veltliner which was above average. The Unoaked Chardonnay was a bit one note to me. The Dry Gewurtztraminer was exceptional for those who enjoy the dry floral complexity of a great Gewurtztraminer

Loved our wine tasting experience. Reservations required for tastings but nice that you get your own table for the tasting. Dog friendly indoors and outdoors. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always enjoy the Chardonnay’s and Riesling’s here. Definitely recommend visiting.

BEST winery that we visited while in NY! Beautiful view and truly amazing wines. I wanted to buy a case of each one I tasted. Don't be afraid to reach outside your comfort zone here. This winery made me rethink what my favorite wine is. The cheese plate is also very good and the service is excellent. I think we had 4 different people come by our table during the tasting and all were delightful.

Oh how we wanted to love this winery - we drove a while to go there. We didn't have a reservation, but they allowed us to sit at the bar for a glass but not a tasting - though everyone else at the bar was tasting. We bought cheese from a fridge but told we had to eat it on a paper towel - no napkins or dishes - just paper towels? We asked someone else and she brought us a tray. The wine was great - but the staff (none of them friendly) dimmed our love of it because our experience was terrible (even in a big beautiful building - the people make a difference).

If you enjoy bad experiences, then this is your place. I'm from northern CA and my family brought me here to enjoy the view and some wine. Simply put, the staff is unprofessional, poorly informed about their processes, and generally uneducated.

The wine is ok.

My family and I have been coming to Lamoreaux Landing for several years now. We bring friends often as we don't live far (southeast PA). Lamoreaux has always given us a wonderful experience. The wines are really delicious and there are so many to choose from. I enjoy dry reds and my family enjoy the white wines. They have three ice wines which are amazing treats as well! The Cuvee Club is really fun. I love the surprise wines I get in the mail 4 times a year! What a great surprise when you arrive home from work to find these waiting for you! We love coming to Lamoreaux Landing!

One of my good friends who lives in the Ithaca area recommended this winery as one of her favorites for both the views and the quality of the wines.

I made a reservation by calling as they do not take reservations online. Although I called and left a message after hours, someone promptly called me back the next morning to confirm the reservation and take my CC information over the phone and was very personable and pleasant.

When we arrived at the winery, the set up was a little confusing as they appear to be really limiting access to the indoor areas due to COVID. There were some wine barrels

These are the most rude people!!! We've never gotten up to leave a restaurant before we started, here we did. Limited crackers and no hospitality.
BLOWS! Asked us if we had a reservation BUT...only 2 other customers in the tasting area and said let me check if we can accommodate you. They acted like we were bothering them and could care less if we stayed or left. Unbelievable!!

After coming to the Finger Lakes for almost 20 years I am always impressed by the amazing experience at Lamoreaux. This, like many other wineries is just a beautiful place to sit and lookout over the lake. It is peaceful, scenic and of course accompanied by great wine. The winery is right off the main road and there is plenty of parking, unfortunately now that is not an issue.

My wife and I had a reservation and we're beautifully welcomed as we arrived. The check in process was perfect. Their COVID protocols were perfect. We were escorted to our social distanced table with our mask

First class winery! Our favorite in FLX. All the wines, not just the rieslings, are very good. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and COVID safe precautions were strictly followed. Highly recommend - a must when you're in the Finger Lakes.

Really high quality wines. Compared to another good winery in Seneca lakes (not to be named) , it was clearly better. Had a fantastic 2012 chardonnay, quite a few rieslings that were excellent. Enjoyed the whites more than the reds, but reds were good as well.

Lamoreaux Landing is certainly top tier when it comes to wineries in NY's Finger Lakes region! Their vineyard is beautiful, especially at sunset, and their tasting room building is bright, open, and has many windows that showcase the great scenery outdoors. But the wine...oh the vino...its really special! Their Riesling is their showcase feature by far as they have numerous different types. Their dry & Round Rock are very good year after year! I cant get out of the place without at least spending $200 in purchases. Their wine keeps well in my home cellar for at least two years.

Gorgeous view from small terrace outside tasting room.

Two tasting rooms; when we visited, the one with the better view was being used for groups that made a reservation.

Gorgeous view from the small terrace outside the tasting room, but there was only enough seating for maybe 8 people.

I bought a bottle of the 2018 Riesling Ice dessert wine because I love sweet wines and it is very sweet.

I also tasted the 2017 Gewurztraminer and the 2017 Vidal Ice. I liked the Gewurztraminer even a little more than the Vidal Ice. Both were sweet but also a little tart. I would recommend both wines.

Lamoreaux really surprised me. Honestly, the finger lakes really surprised me. There are some REALLY good wines here! And it's not just Rieslings or Ice wine. I'm personally not a fan of a sugar bomb in my drinks and it takes a really good dry Riesling to win me over.

Lamoreaux won me over. Not only because I think they have the best view of the lakes but their wines are fantastic! I would suggest trying their more rarer wines instead of the regular tastings because you will find some gems. It was my boyfriends birthday so we got a free drink that I honestly thought was champagne. It

The wineries along Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes are all drastically different. This one I would put at the top of the list for best ambiance....

It's housed in a gorgeous barn type building with extremely high ceilings and stunning views of the lake. We visited in fall when it was especially gorgeous out back!

Tastings were very inexpensive, informative and you could tell the employees really cared about the wines.

We visited mid week, mid day and had the entire place to ourselves.

We tasted the Gewurztraminer, a dry Riesling and a sparkling which we appreciated being an option
