Dr. Hung Ong is a board certified dermatologist with the American Board of Dermatology and has been in private practice for over 20 years. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and an active member of the Medical Staff at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, where he served as Chairman of the Department of Dermatology from 2005-2007.

Tina the front desk manager is the rudest, most unprofessional person I have encountered in a very long time! Dr. Ong is such an amazing dermatologist, but his office manager Tina is the face of his practice.
Dr. Ong, she is so bad for business and driving all your patients away with her mean comments and unprofessionalism.
I have been with this derm for over 10 years and sadly am taking my business elsewhere. Not only is Tina all of the above, but she lacks leadership and grace in the workplace. She diverts blame to the front desk staff, and I truly feel this is why they have such a high turn

I always feel that Dr. Donna Tran cares about me, and my skin. She is very thorough in the exam, checking all my sun exposed parts. I feel safe and know I’m in great hands with her, the office and staff.

Dr. Ong and his entire staff are Absolutely THE most professional organization that I have ever encountered in my 68 years of dealing with the medical profession.
I have personally seen him working at 7:00 pm on Friday night helping patients with their concerns when he should have been long gone from his office.
If you or anyone you know are looking for a Doctor with the highest standards, In ALL aspects in the medical industry, this is the place you want to be.
Unfortunately, I don’t know if he is taking new patients or not - but possibly there is a wait list if he is full.

Dr Ong and his entire staff are efficient, always pleasant and professional. Through the years I have been going to Bella Cara Dermatology no matter what my issues have been they have always quickly resolved all of my skin issues, as well as, checking yearly for any skin cancer. Best dermatologist! I go for skin cancer screenings and facials and can’t recommend enough. The first time I went in Dr Ong immediately knew one of my moles was likely skin cancer from just a glance. He performed a mohs surgery on the spot on my face. And referred me to a plastic surgeon For reconstructive Surgery. The spot is hardly noticeable now.
The office is professional, with top grade equipment and practices, kind, and clean. They also work completely with my insurance ahead of time. Taking away worry that payment will be needed. Best place to go for anything skin related!

Dr. Ong is an excellent dermatologist. I appreciate him taking time to explain and advise. The years of practice show in the fact that the procedures are quick and painless. I was so impressed, I took my 5 year-old daughter to see him for something that three other pediatric dermatologists could not help with. Again, we were not disappointed! All the staff is also friendly and professional. I highly recommend Bella Cara Dermatology.
