We've been providing special in-home and office cleanup and clean-out services for more than 60 years! If you have a special project (cleanup of garages/attics/basements/yards, etc.), give us a call at 503-363-7923 and we'll provide free estimates for low-cost removal and special services cleanup rates!
Save time and money paying bills and buying stamps with our automatic payment program. Electronic funds transfer (EFT) allows us to deduct the current balance of your D & O Garbage Service bill directly from your checking or savings account. The funds will be deducted on the billing statement due date.
For remodeling, construction projects or other large jobs, call to arrange for a 10 - 40 cubic yard drop box. We deliver and place the drop box, you fill it and call us when it's full (additional rental fees apply after 4 days). Loads of clean, recyclable material may qualify for reduced disposal costs.

They usually do what they say they will, but they NEVER communicate with customers when they fail to pick up trash/yard debris etc. due to weather. You have to call them to find out why they failed to act responsibly. I called them today. I doubt they're going to change their 20th century ways of communication (or lack thereof).

10 years of service never had a problem. Been in the office & made phone calls to let them know I had extra items to be picked up. Always taken care of. Seem like there are many very unlucky folks out there or they just like to complain, must make them feel good. So sad.

After reading some of th reviews I don't feel alone in my frustration with this "company " Because I share a similar story with everyone, save the garbage being left on the street. When you question their confusing and imo inaccurate billing information, you get double talk and indifference because they're the only game in town. It's unethical, and I believe illegal to have a monopoly on any business. It would be nice to have choices then consumers who have deal with companies that don't care about their communities/costumers will at least pretend because they have to in order to compete.

My trash collector consistently leaves trash behind on my road every week for sometime now when picking up my trash can, if he can't seem to do his job correctly without leaving his vehicle, then he should get out of his truck and do it by hand. Considering I pay for service from this company for years and years I dont feel like I should have to go clean up my road weekly after his pickup. I am 1 weeks worth of trash being left on my road from hauling my own trash to the dump, and have to wait 4 days for a route manager to call my back to try and get the situation taken care of.

They miss pickup (without reason) on multiple occasions, with not so much as an apology. Now that pickup days are cut to only Mon thru Thurs our full trash has to wait an additional 4 days for pickup and then they want to charge for an extra full bin when it's their fault to begin with. Being the only waste management option for our area, I guess they feel great service isn't needed.

9/18/19 Hey I don't know where my bad review went! I left a bad review a while ago regarding overzealous drivers picking through my Recycling and garbage containers. They can't wait to give somebody a fee. They also charge $35 for pick up of one wooden pallet, wow, I told them I'll throw it in the ditch!

I will give them one star because I have to to post, but they really should get no stars because they are HORRIBLE! After suffering severe health issues and losing my income, I knew I would not be able to continue service but after being a customer with them for 19 years, I figured we could work something out. A payment plan or maybe they could just hold the bill for a few months until my disability came through. They said no and came to pick up my cans over 56.20. Fine.

So for those out there trying to figure out the great mystery behind "recycle or not recycle". My wife receives a phone call from the D and O. I identifying they will have to cite us for a pizza box in our recycling bin. So my wife retorts isn't cardboard and acceptable for recycling. The representative responds yes and no. That if your pizza box has oil on it then no but if it is clean than yes. Please explain to me anyone who has ever had a clean pizza box after ordering pizza. This incredible caper expanded in dialogue by asking did the trash police open the box and validate that

I'm not used to having such incredible service, having come from the Bay Area in California where you don't even get a live person to talk to. I've now had three experiences in about four months with these guys. They are so responsive and so efficient and quick. Super friendly, and just fantastic customer service. I've mostly dealt with Stefanie, but there was another gal that helped me a couple months ago who was just as helpful.

D&O Garbage always goes the extra mile, most recent on the Fourth of July. The night before, I set out the grey garbage and meant to set out the green (overflowing) yard debris at the curb to be hauled away as scheduled. The blue recycling bin was scheduled for pick up the following week. The problem was that I had mistakenly filled the recycling bin with yard debris, and vice versa. In the dark, I placed the bin with yard debris at the curb, but did not notice it was in the blue recycling bin.
